I spent about 6 months researching the best mirrorless camera to buy. In the end I ended up purchasing a Zf and do not regret the decision at all. The camera is rock solid and built like a tank. I always have fun when I’m using it and it motivates me to go out and enjoy taking pictures. In addition to the pictures the video quality is excellent and the low light capabilities make this camera even more worth it. Skip the X-T5 or X100IV and get the Zf instead!

Excellent image quality and functionality. For me it misses on ergonomics. After many years with Nikon DSLRs I couldn’t get used to the lack of a good grip on the Zf. It just never felt right. That’s ok, I still have my Z7ii

I recently used the Zf at the IPMS Best of the West event, Las Vegas, NV. With primary 'Point N Shoot' setting, the pictures came out great!

A truly beautiful camera with state of the art capabilities. I feel every feature of the camera is nearly perfect. I own two Z fcs, which are amazing, but the build quality and additional features of the Z f are extremely useful and intuitive. I use a leather half case in blue to add protection and a bigger grip that blends right in with the Indigo Blue on the camera I selected. I could not be happier!

I am very pleased with the Z f’s expanded capabilities. The new black and white mode with related filters opens up a realm of creative possibilities. The easy access ISO, shutter, and exposure compensation dials greatly facilitate shooting choices. I also enjoy the raised shutter button. I miss an outlet for the MC-DC2 remote cable (the Bluetooth remote cannot focus the camera). Because I am so used to comfortable grips on my other Nikons, I have added a grip to the Z f. The added grip was inexpensive and gave me a greater sense of security lifting and holding the camera. Overall, this camera is the most enjoyable to use of all the great Nikon cameras I’ve owned.

I can't stop bringing the Nikon Zf everywhere I go! it's been an absolute joy to bring along my travels along with the Z 28mm f2.8 and Z 40mm f2 compact primes.

The quick toggle to B&W feature turned out to be one of my favorite features as well as internal 10bit N-Log video recording.

Will be using this camera for many years.

Great camera! Take this and a 24-120 as a travel lens and you have about everything you need. Recommend getting the "small rig" grip. As mentioned by other reviewers, the auto ISO function is arcane. It's difficult to figure out what the camera is actually doing, but there are plenty of workarounds. Does much of what my Z9 does in a smaller package.

I just got my Nikon Zf and I love it. I see the value of a big viewfinder. It is remarkable how large this view finder is to the point where after my initial set up was complete, I just turned the backscreen inward and no longer use it. It is EVF all the way. Although I am not a fan of their auto ISO implementation which is confusing and over engineered, I have found a work around that helps manage this messy implementation. I miss the FUJI film simulation but found a site that has a lot of custom color profiles that work for me.. The auto focus is excellent and only occasionally hunting or missing if your eyes are in between small tree branches obscured by leaves or flowers etc. I find the camera to be have a good heft and not light. I also use the fantastic 40mm f2 retro. Perfect fit for this camera. Waiting for some Sigma primes to pair this with in the future.
