It’s a keeper!
I have had too many cameras. Buy them, use them, get bored with them feeling like I am missing something. Tried Sony, Fuji, Canon, and various Nikon models. I finally bought the Zf. I truly think it hits the sweet spot of filling the ‘something’ I was missing. I can’t put my finger on why this is, maybe it’s the retro look and feel along with amazing technology, but I truly love this camera.

Great Fun-to-Use Camera
I have had this camera for about 6 months now. Like many of the reviews here, I love this camera. I have several Nikon film cameras including an F3, an F5, and an F6. I also have a D850. All are superb cameras. And many other cameras including a Sony RX1. This reminds me a lot of the F3 for obvious reasons. It is my first mirrorless ILC. I have been hesitant because I like to look through the glass. But this camera is such a joy to use. I am using Voigtlander manual focus lenses on it. 40mm f1.2 and 28mm f1.5. These allow me to take advantage of IBIS and focus confirmation while giving me that F3 experience. Again, just a joy to use. It has become my favorite camera hands-down. Great job, Nikon!

Impressive System
First Nikon after previously using Canon, Sony, and Fuji…so far loving it. Still acclimating to the ecosystem and a slight learning curve and developing muscle memory. Nonetheless able to make some great shots. Will be keeping this camera system for sure. Currently only have one lens, so limited in use case(s). (Always up for lens charity should you be so inclined?)

Exceeded expectations.
This camera is excellent. It is a significant change from my d800e. I am slowly understanding the many focus options. The low light performance it exceeded my expectation. Superb camera.

Perfectly adorable and perfectly capable of creating exquisite images. Cutting edge art and science. I love it so much that I have two in different colors. More than enough capability for any one from enthusiasts to pros. You don’t need anything more than this fantastic piece of wizardry.

Great Camera - Beautiful looks and great performance.
Great so far. In terms of camera performance, its great, and everything I expected and more. People say it's big, coming to this from a DSLR it's neither big nor heavy to me. The ergonomics are something you probably want to try before you buy. No hand grip (I put a Small Rig grip on it after a few days of owning) is different, but lots of aftermarket or OEM options. Much of the button placement is dictated by looks/style and not purely function - e.g., I keep pressing the locking button in the middle of the shutter speed wheel instead of the shutter button because the buttons are so cramped on the top (and I don't have big hands), whereas on my previous camera all the buttons were just naturally where they should fall in your hands. That said, I still love it, and it's a great camera to shoot with, and the cool/fun/looks more than make up for buying this over a more 'normal' Z6ii/Z7. Firmware 2.0 also brings much better functionality, and more logical interaction between the buttons and menus.
