The Nikon Z f-GR1 Extension Grip (sold separately) is designed specifically for the Nikon Z f mirrorless camera. Constructed from lightweight and strong aluminum, the Z f-GR1 grip matches the classic design of the retro-styled Z f and is finished with the same comfortable artificial leather material as the camera body, giving it a consistent appearance. Front and rear grip surfaces provide a firm, ergonomic hold, even when the Z f is used one-handed. The Z f-GR1 grip is equipped with a standard threaded ¼ type tripod attachment hole, and the base of the grip is compatible with the Arca Swiss standard for easy mounting on most tripod heads without additional accessories. The Z f’s battery and memory card compartment remains accessible with the grip installed. Dimensions of the Extension Grip are approximately 5.8 (l) x 2.2 (w) x 2.8 (d) inches, and it weighs approximately 4.3 ounces.

    Excellent grip for the ZF

    Well designed grip, excellent construction, the grip is perfect as it allows removal of the SD card and access to the front sub-command dial. I did add a strip of grip tape to the grooved front edge of the grip as it helps to aid your fingers staying on the vertical edge of the grip. The finish is perfect, and matches the ZF. The rear thumb "wraparound" is also perfect, I added dragon grip tape under the rear/thumb rest area to eliminate the flex/play in this area. Nikon may want to add slim rubber "liner" to the inside surfaces to make it fit snugly.

    Almost Perfect

    The fit and finish is perfect as would be expected. It would be 5 stars if there was a QD port and if they offered the finish in the colors that the bodies are available in. My Burnt Orange Zf, doesn’t look perfect with the black handle of the grip.
    Definitely a must if you have big hands.
