Love the performance for sports and night!
Posted by REGINA HADLOCK on May 11, 2021
I am a Nikon user 100% and the z6ii is now my go to camera. Having used the D4s and love it’s performance the z6ii is in my hands every time I’m out. Shooting fast moving sports and some night shoots it provides the excellent results I expect from the Nikon brand. Added the 24-70 2.8 lens and its perfect for my needs.

Another great Nikon
Posted by Charles McFarren, Jr. on May 11, 2021
I moved from a D750 to the Z6 II in February of 2021. There was a learning curve with the new AF system, but that is behind me now, and I could not be more pleased. The auto focus is tack sharp and the high ISO to noise performance is impressive. This allows me to shoot in manual mode with Auto ISO under most light conditions. I use both native and F-mount glass, and have had no problems with the FTZ adapter.

Review

Having previously owned a Z 6, I felt like this was an incremental improvement to an already-great camera. I shoot stills, and this camera meets my needs as an enthusiast. The dynamic range is great, and the low-light noise is incredible. I really enjoy the IBIS since my hands are sometimes unsteady. I'm slowly acquiring S lenses, so I'm excited to see where Nikon goes. I do wish the battery life was better, but I can always buy spare batteries.

New spark to an old flame

The Z611 has ignited my love for photography all over again. So much fun discovering all this new lightweight model has to offer. If your in doubt about investing this camera is worth it. I love it!!! The online Nikon classes are great too.

Worth the difficulty of transferring from DSLR to mirrorless.
Posted by Richard Provost on May 11, 2021
Great camera. I upgraded from the Z6 to the Z6ii. The smartest move I made. This is a much superior camera to the Z6. The firmware updates have increased the flexibility of the camera immensely. The various focus mode combined with eye section are excellent. Nikon needs to improve the eye detection for birds in flight. I use the camera for landscape, birds in flight and portraits. This camera is fantastic in all situations

Joy to use.
Posted by james mccarthy on May 11, 2021
What a joy to use and powerful camera. Much more to learn still after five months of ownership but what I knew from being a long time Nikon owner and my recent learning about mirrorless, I’ve already seen terrific results and I expect continued improvement with more use. Wonderful to hold and shoot with. As a Canon owner said, after graciously agreeing to use my camera to take a picture of me and my son out west, this camera had a solid, professional feel versus his Canon. I look forward to every opportunity to use this camera and it is a worth replacement for my loved D750.

So far is the best digital camera I have ever owned. It beats my Nikon 5300, 7200 and 850 hands down. I am still learning all it's features. A great all around camera and great low light ability. I just wish Nikon had some Z series lens out in the 400-500 mm range. In the meantime I will use my Fx 200-500 5.6.
