    Just perfect

    Posted by tonyb2760 on September 12, 2025

A perfect combination of features, performance and image quality in a compact and lightweight package. I would and do use the Z6II for every genre of photography, especially my macro . The 24 mp makes a perfect file size for multiple stacks with editing task becoming a breeze. I am astounded at the quality of the finished image. I have nothing but praise for this camera. It compliments my Z7II and Z8 very well. Highly recommended.

A great improvement in all ways over my go to D610. The focus and ergonomics are awesome.

Z6II is quite satisfying to use for all occasions

Posted by Anonymous on June 29, 2025

I have been a Nikon user since 1980. Starting with an FE and moving to digital with a D5300. Not satisfied, I upgraded to a D5500 and jumped into mirror less with a Z5. A great light weight camera but then I wanted better video, faster speeds, better eye detection and better IBIS. A sale caught my attention and I now have a Z6II plus I also upgraded my Z50 to a Z50II. I wish I had bird eye detection but I can manage with using animal and shooting fast shutter speeds. Great auto focus. With my new 105 macro it is great for those close ups. I kept the kit lenses from the Z5 and have added a number of newer prime lenses.

Love my Nikon Z 6 ll. Great IBIS. Love the 2 card slots. Though more expensive the CF express are sooooo fast worth the money. Love the ergonomics. Would like bracketing button but I menu works fine. Great backup to my Z 6 lll.

    Quality/Value

Z6II - a gamechanger! This was a “budget-buy”, but it ticks all the boxes:*Quality build - CHECK*Dual card slots - CHECK (even though one is XQD/CF Express - forgivable)*Excellent image/video quality - CHECK*Connectivity - CHECKSo, it’s a solid powerhouse of a camera. As expected from Nikons reputation! That’s why I bought it…Value for the dollar from a reputable brand!

z6II is a great camera, Nikon Built Quality but it can use a software improvement.

Posted by Anoosh A. on May 16, 2025

This is my 5th Nikon from D40, D300, D90, D800 and now z6II, I have limited time to play with my first Complain is that, it needs a software update so I can utilize it better. when I take a picture in Aperture Priority mode, the photo is not displayed on the monitor, no matter how quick I move my eyes away from camera!! However if I just point the camera at something and take a picture, the photo briefly shows on the monitor. When I set the "Image Review -> ON" , after taking a picture the photo shows up in both view finder and on the monitor, which I do not like since the view finer becomes unusable for a moment. It needs a software update, to force the camera to show the photo briefly when I use the view finder and have "Image Review -> On (Monitor Only)" If I read the page 235 of the same manual correctly this option is not possible!!
