    Very sharp and the f2.8 opens up many possibilities. I have the f4 and was concerned that there would not be a significant difference, but there is.

    The additional controls add really useful versatilely to the overall camera´s functionality.

    Compact and sharp

    In my long professional career I´ve not seen a sharper, more compact, and versatile medium zoom than this lens. It´s the one I leave on the Z7 for general purposes. My best non-technical description is that this lens is crisp.

    great walk around lens

    On my Z7 this lens is fantastic- I have the full resolution range of 24-70mm and also extra reach in DX mode which will still give me 20MP resolution. This lens is sharp and versatile.

    The range of this lens is great for walkaround general photography. It is also great for general studio still work. I am very happy with it.

    I have been using Nikons for the past 50 years. It is exciting to be part of the amazing revolution from film to digital. The latest move to the Z6 and the 24-70 f4 lens is a quantum leap in photography for me. First of all is a deeply renewed interest of capturing absolutely beautiful images! I have captured more spectacular ´´keepers´´ in the past 6 months than in the past 6 years.

    Great camera in a smaller, lighter package

    My shoulder thanks Nikon. It´s been getting increasingly harder for me to lug my d800.
    I can see no degradation in the clarity of the Z7.
    Very quiet. Almost to quiet.
