    Great “does is all” lens

Finally a kit lens that is actually worth the price. Perfect focal range. Beautifully sharp. Impressive autofocus. Great for those “take one lens” days

    Nikkor Z 24-120mm f4

My first Z lens and I am impressed with the clarity of the lens and the light weight. I like the extra functionality built into the lens that makes it more versatile tool. This lens will cover 80-90% of my shooting.

    Nikor 24-120mm

Posted by Scott Busskohl on October 14, 2026

This is a very nice lense. Extremely clear images, and works great for almost everything. Landscape, wildlife, portraits, weddings, astro, basically anything that you want to do, this is a perfect fit. This lense with a macro, and a telephoto, pretty much fills all the gaps.

    24-120 is a keeper

Posted by Rick Thome on November 10, 2025

The 24-120mm has become my primary landscape and travel lens. this lens is extremely sharp across the focal range, plus giving you the added distance over the 24-70. Being an f4 lens for landscape shooting is never an issue for me, I have even shot northern lights with it, know that my 20 f1.8 would have less noise, but in a pinch it works fine
