NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S

This camera is amazing. Its Fast, Sharp, and when in the hands of a professional it is Unparalleled.

I think it´s a good buy when you purchase this lens along as a kit. It´s small, pretty well built, and lightweight for a 24-70, but it´s definitely not as sharp as most of my f-mount lenses that I own. I would recommend this lens purchasing in a kit and as a walk around lens but probably not for pro work

Hits above it´s weight and humble specs would suggest. A real optical gem.

The lens is considered ´´great´´ in low light conditions; my experience is that is low light conditions (particularly when photographing cloudscapes) the lens fails to find a focus point. If you set the lens on manual the 24-70 Nikkor lens does not have a ´´focus lock´´ on infinity, thus you end up with out of focus images if you move focus ring past a very precise infinity point.

It´s not the 2.8, but for half the price, you get a wonderful lens that´s a great value.

Nice all-purpose lens, especially for travel. Now Nikon needs to get up off its haunches and reward the customers who went the Z-Mount route, and make some nice Z-Mount non-DX lenses for their mirrorless cameras! It´s been long enough! Get a 50mm - 250mm lens or a 70mm - 300mm lens on the market!!

The Z6 has quickly replaced the D850 as my number one camera to grab for a shoot. Love the 24-70mm, and I´m sure I´ll be making the complete switch to mirrorless one day.

In this era of faster must be superior we often overlook the fact that simpler may be a very good choice as well. The 24-70mm f4 is a fantastic lens with great performance in nearly every condition that it is presented with. It´s price point makes it a great value!
