    Excellent!

Posted by Christopher Deacon on February 16, 2024

Only had it a week, but it is proven to be the best camera I have owned. I do a lot of bar bands, and,as such the focus and lighting are often difficult to deal with. No problem with the z8! Even though 1 have the lens adapter too, I'm seriously thinking about getting the 100-400 lens because it is lighter and will eliminate the need to keep swapping between the 70-200 and 200-500.

    Best camera ever.

Posted by Art Art on February 12, 2024

I've been a Nikon shooter for over 20 years after starting my photography journey with Minolta, then trying out with Canon. No other cameras would give me such a good feel on my hands like Nikon. Z8 was my third mirrorless camera after Z7ii and Z7. This camera will do anything you can ask for as long as you know what want out of its results. Just keep learning, experimenting, and understanding its functionalities you will be amazed.

    Z9 Mini Me

Posted by Alissa Behn on February 11, 2024

I've only had my Z8 a week. I purchased it as my back up and smaller walk around camera, than my Z9. So far it's quite impressive! I have even had to check on which camera I was shooting with, while out playing with it. It handles just like my Z9, but it's easier for me to wield around! My Z9 will still be my primary for jobs. The Z8 will be back up and personal camera. I'm however not a fan of the 2 different cards. I feel the SD card isn't the same quality as CFexpress. I believe, the SD card was to help keep the camera size down. Overall, I love this camera, in my first week with it!

    Love it!

Amazing! I currently own 6 Nikon cameras & the Z8 is by far the best thus far. Absolutely in love with it. And the firmware update has made it even better. Did a little testing with my canine models. Z8, 300 mm PF lens. Animal setting does a marvelous job.

    fantastic camera

Posted by Terry Fout on February 10, 2024

Love the camera. There's a lot to learn so I'm still learning. Focus is super fast and very accurate. There's several features I can't wait to try (need better weather): in camera focus stacking and multiple exposures are 2 of them. I do wish it had built-in GPS like the Z9 and I'd like to see in-camera panoramic photos - if that's possible. My early photos are super sharp but that's more a function of my lenses and Nikon has plethora of such lenses with the Z mount.
