    Setting's are the key

Posted by elbert kennard on May 9, 2023

I now have 2 of them and they are work horses! I'm retired after 30 plus years as a professional photographer and now do real estate just to stay busy. With the newest camera I also included the FTZ adapter so I could use my older lens and I'm very happy. Never a glitch and they are light and easy to set. I really like the being able to have settings that allow me to shoot different items without resetting the camera.I really don't have any issues with the camera, there is so much on the web that really helps a 75 year old understand how to get the most out of the camera.

    Great camera!

I love this camera! I have been so pleased with the clarity and brilliance of the photos! I also have the D850 that I love, but this camera is a dream! There are some adjustments in you have to get used to in focusing, but once you get it, the results are amazing! I highly recommend it!

    Almost a 10 out of 10.

The Z6 II is a great camera for taking photos. The main feature that caused me to get this camera was a feature that there was a box while focusing and anything in that box would be in focus. It works great for 1st kisses. On the other hand, for some reason it doesn't allow me to record 4k 30fps with HDMI into my Shinobi, if Nikon can send out a firmware to fix that. I have to use 1080HD in order to record at 30 or 60fps. I also tried using the Ninja V, I had the same results. SMH. This camera would be the best for its affordability and able to record 4k 30fps with the Shinobi.

    Second Time Around

Posted by Frank Greco on April 27, 2023

What a great camera! I just picked up photography again as a hobby and thought I would start with some new equipment. After much research, I decided on the Z6!!. I've been using it now for about three weeks mainly taking landscapes. I watched some online videos and after a couple sessions, I felt like a pro. The simplicity of working in Manual Mode is the best. Thanks Nikon!

New Photography & New mirrorless owner

Posted by Avelina Booth on April 21, 2023

I had this camera now for few months. Learning curve is in process. I had dslr canon T7 rebel kit for almost 6 year sand before that I had canon mark 7ii kit point on shoot vlog ging type of camera. I went to 2 hours photo walk program last week and let me tell you the battery life it holds a very long time. Main reasons I purchased this camera is I can shoot low light, it has two SD slots card and I don’t want to outgrow in this camera.

    Nikon still has it

Posted by Mark Lovretin on April 21, 2023

I am still not used to mirrorless after over 40 years operating SLRs, then DSLRs. The viewfinder takes some getting used to. Image quality is very good, batteries are ok but what I expected with a video dependent camera. Nice smaller size and weight. Must have battery grip if you have large hands, much more comfortable. Neck strap is very uncomfortable on a bare neck but can change strap later.Been a Nikon user since the 70's so never changing over to the other side soon. Nice and quiet shutter after DSLR mirrors flopping up and down.

Great Camera for Landscape and Travel Photography

Posted by Mark/Nancy Stigliano on April 11, 2023

I've had my Z 6II for a couple of months now. I've had SLR's since the early 70's; range finders and Brownie type cameras since the 50's. I had a D610 for 10 years and decided it was time to upgrade. I was a bit hesitant to go mirrorless but I'm happy I did. I just came back from taking two cruises back to back out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I took about 500 shots. I purchased my Z with the 24-200 lens. I like the lighter weight of the camera and the "walk around" lens. The brightness of the viewfinder is a real plus. I was worried about battery life but that has not even come close to being a problem. Low light focus is much better than my D610. High ISO shots show very little noise. Menu options are similar to the D610 so the learning curve was practically non existent. All in all for landscape and travel photography this was a great choice. I highly recommend it.

Great focus and excellent in low light.

Excellent in low light, fast and easy to operate. Owners manual leaves a lot to be desired.
