A very versital lens
Posted by Dennis Maxwell on May 18, 2021
I bought this lens for travel with my Z50. Fits perfectly in a small Domke bag along with the 16-50 lens. Because of the DX factor it makes a pretty nice lens for a lightweight birding outing. So much lighter than my 200-500 with a full size DSLR body.

A Most Wonderful, Versatile Lens
Posted by ERIC FORREST on May 18, 2021
Such a wonderful, versatile lens. In the past great sacrifices were made to accommodate this extended zoom range, with the new Z-system these limitations are overcome.

24-200 Great lens
Posted by PHILIP KRAMER on May 18, 2021
I purchased the 24-200 in December. Since then, it has become my most used lens. It is sharp and the range is versatile. I sold my 24-70 as this lens is so much more useful. Between this lens and my 14-30, I have most of my needs covered. Waiting eagerly for the telephone zoom for the Z mount and I will be happy.

Should replace the Z 24-70mm f/4.0 in all Nikon kit packages
Posted by Dean Gibson on October 30, 2020
I've owned Nikon cameras & lenses for over 40 years, preferring very fast primes & fast zooms. As I have gotten older & digital cameras have gotten "faster" sensors, I've been gravitating to slower, lighter weight lenses. This is the first "all purpose" zoom I've owned, & it really fills the bill for most shooting, even indoors. It replaced my Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4.0S lens (also a good lens), because in exchange for the loss of about one f-stop at 70mm, you get a free 80-200mm f/6.3 zoom.
