    Z6 relatively light and reliable

    Posted by Lapdog99 on October 17, 2019

Z6 has delivered most of what was promised. Sensitivity to sensor dust has been the only problem. I do wish it had an SD card second slot due to the high cost of XQD cards.

    Wow!

This camera is fantastic. Along with my f 2.8, 24-70, it is a landscape photography dream.
Check out using neutral density filters. With the z6, what you see is what you get. No need for formulas. Just adjust the shutter speed until you view the scene you want.

    Z6 Hits and Misses

    Posted by BreePhoto1 on October 17, 2019

I´m really loving this camera. The Z6 is light weight and compact. My husband says I look like a junior photographer, but don´t care! (I am glad the strap has the Z6 on it though so I can show that off). I love that what I see in the view finder is what I get. The setting are pretty easy to customize. I did an upgrade on my own after I got it and found that was much easier than expected. I don´t typically shoot video, but played around with it. Wow! Awesome even in low light.

I have 2 issues though. One is that there is only one card slot. I have been using the camera A LOT for a couple of months and have not had any kind of card issues though, so I can´t really complain. One major thing I wish that Nikon would add is a vertical battery grip. The battery does run out faster than what I´m used to (been using D500), even if not using the back of the camera options. I can shoot about an hour; or around 350 pictures on 1 battery.

Overall though, I highly recommend it!

Fantastic camera, brought me back into the Nikon fold

Posted by Esarhaddon on October 17, 2019

I had used APS-C Nikons for years and eventually got to the point where I wanted the mirrorless experience. After 3 years with Fuji, I returned to the Z6. What a fantastic camera! Easy to use, great pictures and colours, plenty of tools designed to help my photos and videos come to life. Now all we need is a 70-200mm f/4S or 70-300mm f/4S lens to round out the kit!

    Exciting!

    Posted by Bobsag59 on October 17, 2019

As a longtime Nikon user and most recently a Nikon Z6 user I find the Nikon is heading in a very exciting new direction similar to that of the digital revolution. In an age where computational photography is becoming an important part of the workflow of the professional photographer Nikon is making the strides to show that it is at the forefront of the photographic industry. You go Nikon!!

    Awesome camera

    I love the Z6.
After years of carrying heavy photo equipment around the world this camera is like a breath of fresh air.
Now I´m just waiting for Nikon to come out with a 18-300mm f/4 zoom and I´ll be traveling light.

    A Wonderful Upgrade

Posted by TravelerSteve on October 17, 2019

I traded up to the Z6 from a D7500. My objective was to move to a full frame camera, and I decided to also go mirrorless. I am an amateur photographer whose primary use of the camera is for travel photography. The Z6 has proven to be very manageable for these purposes. It is relatively lightweight, although I tend to carry extra lenses which takes away from some of this advantage. The upside is that the 14-30 mm S lens really adds to the images I am capturing when I travel, The S series lenses used on the Z6 produce wonderful, clear optics and have helped me take my photography skills to a new level, along with taking some classes. I highly recommend the Z6!

    Great technology throughout.

Posted by Gridley on October 17, 2019

I purchased 2 cameras for my start up video company. Very happy with the performance of these units. Thinking about adding a 3rd... perhaps a Z7. Z mount lens development is a little slow. 85MM is on backorder with no delivery in sight. But that´s a logistics issue and not a performance issue. I would like Nikon to send me a hat!

Best camera from Nikon. Images are sharp and color s bright and strong

Posted by Pathdoc on October 17, 2019

Nikon software is sadly lacking in a good user interface. Snapbridge App has NOT been updated to Catalina OS .
    Battery life is too short
