14-30mm S lens is fantastic??
Posted by Leicaman on December 29, 2019
This WA 14-30 is the very best WA zoom I have ever used. Much smaller and lighter than my Nikon 14-24G. Even better it takes screw-in filters.

Great addition to Z line

This lens is compact, light and both contrasty and sharp. I mostly use it for landscape.

Good super wide lens that gets it all in a small package
Posted by PhysiquePhotog on December 26, 2019
Good super wide lens that gets everything into the picture. For both landscapes and group portraits the performance is amazing. The compact size makes it easy to travel with.

Amazing wide angle lens
Posted by sh1209 on December 26, 2019
I own the Z6 and Z7 and wanted to try this lens. After using a while, I have to say this is the best wide angle lens I´ve ever shot with. It´s small, light and very well built.

Ideal super-wide for Z
Posted by MachSchnell on December 25, 2019
This lens alone makes it work switching to the Z platform. Compared to other super-wide lenses this one is very small and lightweight. Ideal for landscapes. Accepts filters. Yes, it has a fair amount of distortion at the wide end. But for most of my landscape work I disable the automatic correction. That makes it about 13mm. Yes, it is ´only´ f/4. I´ll gladly accept f/4 to keep is small and light. This lens is no larger than the 24-70 f/4 kit lens. They make an excellent pair.

Nikon really did it this time!
Posted by scubacharlie on December 25, 2019
I bought my Z7 after waiting awhile and although I don´t usually buy the kit lens, this is an extremely fine piece of glass. I did think about using my favorite wide angle 14-24 on my Z7, but this lens is equal and comes in for a lot less money. Images are sharp from each corner, and focus is spot on. I can´t say enough good things about this lens - and the weight really makes a difference when you are carrying it all day on a landscape adventure hike.

The only lens I used on a Utah National Park Trip
Posted by Rulandrew on October 20, 2019
This lens is the only one I used on my Z6 during a recent trip to several Utah National Parks. Had the Z24-70 in my bag but never took it out. I found the Z6/14-30 setup to be perfect for my vision of the landscape. The Z6 with this lens carries comfortably in a small messenger bag on day hikes. I love it. The images are great too.

Incredible size/performance ratio
Posted by GregW on October 20, 2019
Coming from a AF-S 16-35 f/4G ED-VR this 75% the length and 71% the weight of that lens, with the slightly wider view. I´m an architect and used the previous one extensively on job sites. I have not had a chance to the new one too much yet, but I think I will be even more pleased with it due to its portability.
