NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S

This is a wonderful lens. Five stars given after my first outing with my new Z 14-30 lens paired with my Z 7II. I upgraded to mirrorless this year because my old D800 plus lens got too heavy on long outings.My original plan was to use an adapter with my old lenses but decided to go with new mirrorless lenses as well. The Z 14-30mm replaced my old F mount 18-35mm. The new Z lens is a remarkable improvement over the old F mount lens. It was a great decision to upgrade to new technology.This wide angle lens inspires creativity for me. Wide angle images are exciting and can give the viewer a sense of being right there. This lens captures sharp images, is fast to focus, and light to carry.

I use this for interiors. It replaces my 14-14 f1.8. It’s much smaller, lighter and probably sharper than the f lens. It will save my buying a new tripod mount for sure very happy I bought it.

Nice lens; it hits the sweet spot at 16 - 24 mm. At f 5.6 - to f11. Settings at 14 mm and 30 mm have poor results.

Great build quality. This is my third S spec Z lens. I also use 24-120mm f/4 S and 35mm f/1.8 S Z lenses. I love city scapes and long exposures.

This lens is at its best between about 16mm and maybe 22mm, f5.6 to f8. In that range, it's really good, almost up to my other S zoom, the really wonderful 24-120 F4 S. At 14mm and at focal lengths above 23 or so or wide open at F4, it's still very good, probably comparable to the old F series lenses, but not good enough to deserve an S designation in my opinion. It's compact, convenient, and the price is very competitive for what you get, so still a good deal for a fine walk-around ultra wide zoom

Great lens. It is on my camera every where I go. Tack sharp. Great for landscape and indoor use

Love this lense. for my Brass Depot store I use it most out of all of my lenses.

This lens is compact, well built and tack-sharp wide open at all focal lengths. It's ideal for landscape and interior photography, or just as handy all-purpose wide angle. I've been very pleased with it to this point.
