    Great camera. I love it!

Posted by Christopher S. on February 27, 2025

The focusing of this camera is incredible. Being a sports photographer is my primary reason for buying this camera. All I heard and read about its focusing ability is accurate. It finds the faces even when they are not the closest object to the camera and even if they are moving. What more can one ask for? I'm very pleased with this purchase, and upgrade from my Z6ii, which is a wonderful backup and second camera when I'm shooting a game with two lenses. I'm not a photographer that gets excited about technical specs. I just want performance and quality results. I got that in my Z6iii for a very nice price.

    Great performance

I like to carry two cameras when I go out. I have the Z9 & Z8 but they can be a little daunting to carry as I just turned 72. I don't always need the higher megapixels and enjoy having the smaller camera for taking with me when I don't have a planned shoot. Great performance and I really like the z6III.

Got this to replace my z7ii as backup to my Z9. It has much of the features of the 9 that I rely on at much less cost. Love it.

    Wonderful

Posted by Glenn C. on February 26, 2025

I began my photographic journey back in the late 70's with a Nikon FE, which I still have. I explored different manufacturers such as Canon and Fujifilm as I ventured into digital as well as a Nikon D300.Once I decided to go mirrorless, I knew I wanted to stay with what I grew up with...Nikon. My biggest decision was to go with either the Z8 or Z6lll. Not really needing 45 megapixels, I went with the Z6lll.I absolutely love everything about this body with one exception...the flippy screen. Hopefully, I will get accustomed to this in time, however currently I wish they stuck with the screen utilized on the Z6ll.All in all, this body is a beast and 24 megapixels is more than enough for 90% of us.Great job Nikon!

Fantastic Camera But Lacks Folder Naming IMO

Posted by Chief on February 26, 2025

I upgraded from the Z6ii and love the new Z6iii. There are so many options, it should satisfy near anyone. There is one criticism I have about the folders. I miss my old D70 in that respect. I could name folders with the first 5 letters of a location or whatever Ali want. I’d like to be able to rename folders instead of just a number. Otherwise, a fantastic camera.

    MY LITTLE BEAST

Posted by Demi P. on February 26, 2025

I call it: my LITTLE BEAST! Love this piece of gear and art! Yes is art because deliver to me art 24 hours: from the first light of the morning to the next light of the morning. I use it for everything i love regarding photography: landscape, nightscapes and portraits. I purchased for backup for my z9 , but now both are always on my backpack everyday . Thank you so much NIKON!
