    Never say never!

    Over the last several years I was very resistant to the idea of a mirrorless camera, have been loving my Nikon D7500 for so many reasons. But when I cam upon a sale of the latest NikonZ6iii, I thought I'd act sooner than later given the savings. Adjusting to it has been slow-going, by choice, but easier than I had expected. Looking forward to playing with is more this summer! Glad I treated myself to this lovely camera!

    Super-efficient focusing, tracking, and subject detection

    I love the super-efficient focusing, tracking, and subject detection (specifically, animals) of the Z6III. Paired with the 180-600mm zoom, this camera has significantly improved my ability to capture shots of local wildlife. I can't wait for Nikon's announced firmware update, adding birds as a specific-detection category.

    Really appreciate that my very older F-mount lenses can still be used on my Z 6III camera. Very forward thinking on Nikon's part.

    I had a Z6 that I wanted to upgrade. Already have a Z9...the Z6 III is a perfect complement! Using the ZFS 2 adapter I can use all of my non-Z Nikon lenses, and with the Z mount lenses shooting is a snap. The autofocus features are solid and the one thing I REALLY LIKE about Nikon is that the buttons, dials, and menu features are the same across cameras making transition easy. It is fast, responsive, and a pleasure to use.

    First Time Nikon-er

    Just WOW!!! The Nikon Z 6iii is my very first foray into the Nikon family of bodies and lenses. I’m just a hobbyist, still trying to learn the art of photography. Having spent several years learning on a Canon Powershot G9 and Fuji XT2, this Z6iii makes capturing photos seem like cheating. Admittedly, I still have so incredibly much to learn about this fantastic system. But I am enjoying the journey! Thank you Dave at Camera Inn in Anniston, AL for your decades of experience boiled down into half a day educating me on the best system to fit my needs!
