The buttons, dials, and the sound of this camera when the picture is taken is something else. Job well done

Absolutely love the camera and design, got me back into photography!!

The Nikon Z fc brings me back to the 70’s and 80’s shooting film. The tactile feel of the dials and styling are what I used while learning the art. I shoot mostly in manual and adjusting the dials is much easier then maneuvering the digital screen. In fact I rarely even open the screen as I prefer to use the eye piece. Animal eye tracking and silent mode are a big plus over the D500 I use for wildlife photography.

The perfect little purse camera that's compact, but incredibly versatile! I use this all the time to take candid photos, and it never draws attention like my Z7ii.

As a Nikon user since the 70's this has turned out to be a great addition. I love the nostalgic look and paired with the 24-200 and 50 micro its the travel trifecta. Hoping the additional grip eventually makes its way to the USA but that is matter of personal preference. Nice sharp images and surprisingly fast frame rate allow me to snag candid photos and action without compromise. In a pinch you can switch to Program or Auto without worrying about the controls.

The camera itslef is excellent in every respect. It's useless for now, though, because Apple's Mac most current operating system can't handle Zfc Raw images. How in the world does this happen?

This is a fantastic camera. I bought it for my wife and she loved it the minute she saw it. The thing she really likes are the dials on top of the camera, rather than hunting menus. She keeps the camera set on manual, usually at f/5.6. Changing shutter speed is a snap for her--she just rotates the dial on top. Note that the body does not have IBIS, so you need to make sure you use either the kit lenses or use your F-mount VR lenses.

Love the look, feel, and experience of this camera.

Paired with either the 16-50 zoom and/or the 50/2.8 micro lens, it is the perfect lightweight travel or hiking camera. It is so lightweight I barely notice it in my backpack. I originally ordered the 28/2.8 kit but switched to the 16-50 kit when the 28 was put on indefinite hold. I will definitely be ordering the 28/2.8 separately when it is in stock. This camera also serves me well as a backup for my Z6. And happily other full frame Z lenses I use with the Z6 balance better than expected on the much slimmer Z fc (35/1.8, 85/1.8, 14-30/4). And the fact that it looks like a vintage Nikon FM or FE camera does not hurt!
