    Game changer

    My Z9 is a game changer. I still have a lot to learn about the capabilities however the focus tracking is amazing. I shoot mainly sports and action, along with wildlife and this camera instantly elevated my game. 100% positive on this camera.

    Other reviewers have gone into all manner of detail as to why the Z9 is a world class pro camera so I won't repeat all of that. Just know that the accolades are not hype. This body is the camera of a lifetime. Spectacular. Fabulous. Incredible.

    AF works simply great. A little focus breathing with adapted lenses but I'm sure that we will have some firmware updates in the future. One recommendation would be that Nikon ships the camera with the "Sensor Shield" switched to the "On" position to protect the sensor immediately out of the box.

    Game Changer. I have owned numerous Nikon cameras over the years and am absolutely thrilled with the Z9. The autofocus (straight out of the box) is awesome comparative to my D750 or even my old D800. The color rendition is on par with my other Z body (Z7). I have not had a chance (due to weather issues) since I got it to really put it through its paces, but so far, extremely happy,

    I have been a working photojournalist for over 40 years. This is truly the best camera Nikon has ever made. The controls feel as though they were made for my hands no cramps while shooting long events. All controls are easily accessible at multiple locations on the body itself. I ttruly do enjoy this camera

    Truly a wonderful camera. I live in Alaska and primarily photograph wildlife. Today I took it out for more testing; weather conditions were not the best possible for “ideal” photography as the light was dull and it was snowing. The camera performed flawlessly as I photographed Red Fox, Moose and Barred Owl. Autofocus was right on whether I used Auto-area AF, 3D or single focusing point. Twenty frames per second shooting RAW was amazing and certainly didn’t hurt the effort ;-). Despite the somewhat difficult conditions, there wasn’t a single hiccup in performance and I returned home with some great images. This camera was SO worth waiting for!

    What's not to love. The auto focus is so fast and sharp which helps with birds in flight and the illuminated buttons help with astrophotography and quality you can feel. Thanks to Nikon for delivering a camera that will improve our photographs.
