The Incredible Z9!
Posted by Gregory Stais on January 17, 2022
Nikon has hit one "out of the park" with the new Z9! This is simply one of the best cameras Nikon has produced since the introduction of the D850. The Auto Focus is "spot on", the build quality is solid, the image quality is superior with the new Z lenses, the control layout is logical, and the overall look and feel is outstanding. I have owned many Nikon film and digital camera bodies over the years, and this is one of the best new cameras to hit the market in years. Nikon may have had a slow start getting into mirrorless, but with the new Z lenses, the Z cameras, and now the Z9, I truly believe Nikon has surpassed the competition and will continue to do so going forward. In short, the Nikon Z9 is a revolutionary achievement and deserves the designation as Nikon's flagship mirrorless camera!Outstanding job, Nikon!

Amazing, a home run for Nikon
Posted by Richard Allen on January 15, 2022
Looks like Nikon has a winner with the Z9 and it’s AF and eye detection for BIF. The tracking ability and quick lock on is amazing. While I’m still working on the various AF modes I’m loving it.

Game changer
Posted by CRAIG STROBECK on January 14, 2022
My Z9 is a game changer. I still have a lot to learn about the capabilities however the focus tracking is amazing. I shoot mainly sports and action, along with wildlife and this camera instantly elevated my game. 100% positive on this camera.

Camera of a lifetime
Posted by John Schulte on January 14, 2022
Other reviewers have gone into all manner of detail as to why the Z9 is a world class pro camera so I won't repeat all of that. Just know that the accolades are not hype. This body is the camera of a lifetime. Spectacular. Fabulous. Incredible.

Thrilled!
Posted by Raviraj Natarajan on January 13, 2022
AF works simply great. A little focus breathing with adapted lenses but I'm sure that we will have some firmware updates in the future. One recommendation would be that Nikon ships the camera with the "Sensor Shield" switched to the "On" position to protect the sensor immediately out of the box.
