Z 9

I purchased the Z9 to replace my D850 and I have not been disappointed. I had a Z6 and I found the delay for 'initiation' was slow and the autofocus was not that impressive, so I had my concerns. The Z8 had also just been launched and after reading the reviews I opted for the Z9, and I have not been disappointed. The autofocus is extremely good and from the time I press the shutter button the camera is ready to go - there is no delay. The camera handles well, it feels solid, but light, and though some of the buttons have moved locations it is still easy to use. I have used it for portraits, and sports and I find the quality of the images to be very good and consistent.

Great camera great company it's awesome

This camera is frankly amazing. I love it and all the updates of firmware really help. I use it primarily for sports and wildlife. The pure speed is why I purchased it. I am awaiting for the firmware to be able to shoot the 100fps in the raw mode. Needlessly to say that my hummingbird, athletic photo's are fantastic. The A.i. look on is tremulous. I know the price may be up there, but we'll worth it

I too went from a D850 to the Z9 and I love it. The Z9 is a superb camera. I've only had it for 3 monthes and the Autofocus is great and even better with firmware 4.1! I love the no blackout viewfinder. Solid build, easy to handle, and battery life is awesome!.I've achieved amazing shots in low light, while using the FTZ adapter and some of my favorite Nikkor lenses from my D850. I now have the 180-600 and love it as well. Z9 and 180-600 is a great combo, especially with the new "bird" subject detection!

Amazing stabilization. That’s perfectly in the hand. Now with update the 4.1 the auto focus is pro level. Features, customization options, performance all are outstanding.The Z9 gives me confidence on every shoot.Love this camera!

Best camera body buy I've ever made. I bought a refurbished one and the only thing holding it back from a New In Box rating is the fact that it didn't come in an original box. That's an extremely minor quibble. All the accessories were included and the packaging was rock solid.

Absolutely incredible camera, this has been the best investment I did for my photography business. The quality of photos and not to mention the 12 Bit internal recording

I went from a D850 to the Z9 and am pleased with my decision. The Z9 is a superb camera with much more for me to explore, as I've only had it for a few weeks. Autofocus is spot on. It is blazingly fast, impressive. I love the no blackout viewfinder. Solid build, easy to handle, and not too heavy at all.I've achieved amazing shots in low light, as well as amazingly clear shots while using the FTZ adapter and some of my favorite Nikkor lenses from my D850. I look forward to obtaining a Z-lens (Nikon, feel free to send me one), but I don't know how much better the photos can be than what I have. Video is exceptional, as well.I see a long and happy relationship with my Z9.

Added the Z9 to my lineup two weeks ago, thrilled with it so far. Arrived from Nikon only a week before departing on a month-long trip to the UK, wasn't sure I'd take it or my D850. After just a few days, decided the Z9 would go on the trip. At home I shoot a lot of skydiving, focus has been spot on. I can see adding a second as a back-up in the future.
