    Truly Amazing!

Posted by Kyle Baggs on June 14, 2023

Moving from a D850, I was excited to get the Z8 and put it through its paces. I pleased to say it's better than I expected and is perfect for me in size and weight. I love the build quality and more importantly, the video and image quality right out of camera. I highly recommend this camera and the move to mirrorless.

    Worth the wait!

Posted by NEWTON D. WHITE on June 14, 2023

This an awesome camera, I have only scratched the surface of it's capabilities above DSLR. I am glad I waited for the Z8 without the bulk of the vertical grip.

Wow, so many options and features and great image quality

Posted by Robert Allen on June 14, 2023

The Z8 is very thing that I need in a camera and to be honest, much more than I will ever use. But that's OK, having more than you need is better than not having enough features. The silent shooting option comes in handy since I mostly shoot events and it can get very quiet in a large room during a speech at a podium.Overall, very happy. I can't wait to have some of the features from my Z9 firmware 4.0 appear in my Z8!

    Awesome Wildlife Camera

Posted by Dennis Liberson on June 14, 2023

Love my Z8. I already have 2 Z9s, so setting up the Z8 was very straightforward. I just came home from using the Z8 extensively during three days of shooting brown bears and foxes at Katmai National Park in Alaska and it worked flawlessly with my long telephotos (I used both my Z400mm f2.8 VR TC S and my Z400 f4.5). Some of the hiking there to get to the wildlife was challenging and the reduced weight of the Z8 was a major advantage.

    My Z9’s New Baby Brother

Posted by Owen Reitert on June 14, 2023

As a Z9 shooter, the Z8 is welcome addition to the family. Happily donated my Z6ii to a family member who wants to get started in serious photography. Being able to utilize the same muscle memory on my 8 and 9 is helpful when shooting with two cameras. I am a lifelong Nikon shooter and the change from DSLR to Mirrorless has been terrific. Like the Paul Simon song says, I got a Nikon camera, love to take a photograph……
