    Love the size and weight of the Z8! The feature set is superb! It appears that Nikon has AGAIN knocked it out of the ball park!I leave tomorrow for a 10 day trip. I will be using the Z9 and Z8. I'll have more experience with the Z8 in a couple of weeks.

    The Z8 is everything that I had hoped for. Short of the vertical grip, the button layout is identical to my Z9, so I only have one set of muscle memory to worry about. Focus tracking and speed equals the Z9 also. There have been concerns voiced about the smaller battery and battery life, but I find it sufficient for my needs.

    Amazing camera. Coming from the Z6II I was already impressed with the picture quality from Nikon. The increased megapixels along with FPS I am getting fantastic results after only two weeks.

    This is a great camera and the ability to focus on inflight birds is amazing. Using a 200-500 Nikon fx the resolution. unbelievable

    The D850 replacement has come to the Z Series

    Coming from a D850 and Z7ii the autofocus is performing much more accurate than before. Subject lock on has greatly improved over the Z7ii. Having a completely silent camera that you know won't have banding issues under artificial light is a confidence builder when using this camera for live events. The viewfinder is fantastic, even when wearing sunglasses. The form factor provides better stability when using heavier lenses than the Z6 and Z7ii. Adapted telephoto lenses work as if they are mounted on the D850 for focus speed. Z mount lenses lock focus nearly instantaneously.

    Media (Cf express, etc) card door needs a BETTER latch. Otherwise, the camera is indeed a baby Z9. Nice.

    Z8 is Great

    I love this camera. I upgraded from my Z7ii because I started shooting wildlife and the Z8 nails the bird each time. It is much more complicated so I am on a leaning curve, but that is half the fun.

    The Brilliant Nikon Z8

    I’ve had my Nikon Z9 camera for a few months now and I was looking forward to getting a Z8 as great lighter companion. I love both cameras and both have improved my photography by a lot. The four shooting banks a re really great to use.
