    Amazing Camera

    This camera is amazing is soooo many ways just at you'd expect. If I had to come up with a complaint it would be the battery life. Make sure to have some spare battery, even if you're just a hobbyists.

    Great AF for birds after the recent firmware update. AI bird detection in FW 2.0 works great. Great advancement since the Z50/Z7 series of cameras. Nice features and ergonomics.

    Bought the Z8 to upgrade from my Z7. Love the focus system and degree of customization. It is a great landscape and birding camera. This camera does it all.

    This is the camera I’ve been waiting for

    I love this camera! I got my mirrorless training wheels with the Z50, graduated to the Z6II and fell in love with the Z8. The 6II drove me crazy with its focusing capabilities (or lack thereof). The 8 allows me to capture birds that that would have been long gone while I was still trying to focus with the 6II. I think I have my perfect kit: Z8 with the 180-600 and 2X converter, and the 24-120 lens. My only regret is I will not live long enough to learn and take advantage of all the bells and whistles. I still have my Z50. It’s a little gem when it comes to shooting mushrooms.?

    Solid autofocus with great video specs

    Came from Fujifilm XH2S, needed more megapixels and so far I'm enjoying the Z8. The camera is fast, great autofocus with fantastic video specs and great skin tone rendering in photos.

    Zero learning curve

    Solid camera, great AF. I received my Z8 on a Friday afternoon and opened the box Saturday morning before leaving to cover five district basketball tournaments that day. I took it with me expecting to try it out maybe one period per game. After the first period, I had everything tweaked and dialed in so I just kept using it for everything. Ended up shooting 16,000 frames with it that day. The AF is fantastic.
