Review

I have had the Z9 for awhile now. The camera is amazing. But the large size does sometime get in the way.I spend a lot of time on a kayak with my camera in a deck bag.The Z9 seems to be a smaller size.Auto focus is fantastic And much smaller sizeI see nothing except positive things with the Z*

WOW!!!

Absolutely incredible!!! Will be selling my D5500 system, but keeping my D750 as a second camera . I have been a professional in the past and have been shooting for 60 yrs. - this camera changes every thing.

Amazing features, many new to me!
Posted by David Forde on March 31, 2024
The Z8 is an upgrade from my D810 and is impressive with all the features it offers. There is definitely a need to learn the many features and capabilities which are all new to me. The fps speeds are unbelievable! Love the Bluetooth features and the multiple AF modes.

What a powerful and capable camera
Posted by Michael Richards on March 31, 2024
I am new to the pro-series cameras but actively using a Z6ii and Z7ii, it find this camera can capture some wonderful shots. It takes a bit to get used to the button layout and how the auto focus works. I am still learning, but I am so pleased that I made the investement.

My Favorite Camera which is fast accurate, and tough!
Posted by David Johnson on March 30, 2024
My single Favorite Camera. I use it always in JPEG and most often in DX Mode. I own a LOT of other Nikon Cameras. Starting with my Nikon F5 with the 20-35 Zoom lens which still is loaded with 100 ISO Fuji Real Film. Also the D100 all the way to D 500 and D 7500. Then the Z 50 which I use as much as any camera now always with the 50-250 kit lens, two Nikon Zfcs which I use mostly with the kit lens. The Z 9 with the Z S 85 1.8, and the Z S 100-400, and the Z S 400 prime. I will add a Nikon Zf soon for field use. But the Nikon Z 8 I rate as the best of my fleet. I do hope Nikon updates the Z 50 and adds lightweight Z zoom lens for travel in the 16-50mm range.

My favorite camera which needs a DX little brother

I own them all. The Z 9 and Z 8 are amazing and I use the Z 50 , 2 Z fcs, am adding the Zf, and still have a F5 with the zoom 20-35 f 2.0 lens that still works.
