Nikon lover. Z 7 II is an impressive camera. Easy to handle and shoot. Great selection of lenses (when will the lens cost go down :) )

The Z7ii is excellent and so are the Z-mount lenses.

Posted by David DeRosa on September 9, 2024

The Z7ii is and excellent camera and the new mirrorless Z lenses are extraordinary. The new mirrorless design has allowed Nikon to actually surpass its F-Mount cameras and lenses. In actual fact, the mirrorless revolution at Nikon has greater implications for the new Z mount lenses than the camera. And the lenses designated "S" are in a class of their own. I want to buy a second Z camera body -- will either get another 7ii or the Z8. But there could be a Z7iii -- although that appears to phantom of the internet. There is nothing I do not like.

    I've Turned Into A Cropper

Posted by JOHN WIGGERT on June 24, 2024

I have been shooting the 6ii for years upgrading from a D500, and adding the ZF as soon as it was available. The ZF kind of took me back to the F2 days. Now I'm taking more pictures of birds and as a result doing more cropping even with the Z100-400mm ,and Z180-600mm lens. At 72 years old after shooting the 6ii for as long as I have, and being able to tell you what happened 20 years ago but not what I had for breakfast, learning how to use a 7ii was a cinch for me!John W

Great camera for someone who is an amateur, and wants a camera that can grow with their skills!

This was a huge upgrade for me. I upgraded my Sony A55 after about 12 years, and replaced all my A mount gear some of what I have had for over 20 years since my Minolta 35mm days. I have only used my 7II for a weekend was loved how it did all day in bright light and then at night for the fireworks show. So far learning this new gear has been mostly easy to understand. Just the feel of the camera in my hand is great. I feel like I have the camera quality I have always wanted. I do wish the LED screen could fold in like other makers when not in use so you have less of a chance of damaging the screen.

    Nikon for the win!

Posted by Chris Simons on May 25, 2024

Was looking for a great camera to use while visiting the national parks with my wife. Spent the last several months going over the various reviews. Finally decided on the Z7 II. I’m a pretty novice photographer and have enjoyed the many features on the camera so far. It’s probably more camera than what I need to be honest. My last camera purchase was years ago and it was the Nikon D90 so it’s been awhile. The weight and size of the camera are perfect. Really looking forward to getting on the road again and taking so fantastic photos!! Very pleased so far!!

    I'm Impressed

Posted by Martin Weirich on May 24, 2024

I am impressed with the clarity of the pictures. I also have the 180-600 Nikkor lens. This camera is exceptional for taking pictures of wild life. There are so many settings to learn. I'll be a few months to learn how to properly use them.Great Camera and Great Lenses

    It fits my need perfectly

Posted by Raymond El Haddad on April 7, 2024

Image quality, Colors, autofocus, low light and video recording quality are great. The only headache is the rotation of the screen; it is not fully articulated as it is difficult to take a long-angle picture, in that part, Z8 is better. I wonder if the screen mechanism can be replaced.
