Rekindled my love for photography using older F mount Lenses!

Posted by Ts Ts on October 26, 2026

Received my refurbished Z6 ii with 24-70 lens last week. I was amazed how clean the camera and lens arrived. I have been shooting Nikon cameras and lenses since 1974 when I became a professional photographer. I still have most of my old Nikons and lenses. It has been so much fun using the FTZ 11 adapter with my lens collection. This camera has brought back my enthusiasm for photography as a hobby!

    Adapting Vintage lenses

Posted by RENE AGUSTIN on October 8, 2026

I come from a world of using film on a canon A-1. I bought this camera specifically to adapt vintage prime lenses. So far the camera has been amazing at this. It has focus peaking, presets for different lens stabilization and shooting in manual mode has resulted in great pictures. I am still finding a bunch of cool features and feel this will be a nice addition to my film photography work.

Camera & 1 Lens Gets It All

Posted by Gary Friesz on July 17, 2026

Z6II was a great choice paired with a 28-400 lens. No need for multiple lenses. Light weight, tack sharp, versatile for landscape, wild life, portraits & sports without the need to make any changes. I’m very happy with performance.

    Odd Button Layout.

Posted by GLENN LANCASTER on February 10, 2026

The Nikon Z 6-II is a great camera - so why did I rate it at only a four star? The layout of selection buttons are a bit troublesome for me. I own four F mount Nikons (D5100, D300, D700, D800) and have never had an issue with reaching the selector buttons. To me, the Z 6-II, which is way smaller than the D series, could have placed the buttons in similar location to avoid confusion. Now on a very positive note, the camera is easy to handle, light weight and captures crisp, tack sharp pictures in full FX frame. Of course, a camera is only as good as the lenses attached to the body. Using the FTZ II adapter the eleven Nikkor F mount lenses I have net great results that are very sharp. My cat, Stella, let me test my 35mm prime lens on her, the results tell the tale. When you can count the hairs on her chin - it's tack sharp.
