    Great standard lens with near-macro capability

    A perfect lens for general shooting. Nice and sharp, comparable to the Z 50mm 2.8, and a step up from the Z 24 1.7 (which I also really like). It feels a little more substantial than the Z24mm or Z40mm, while still being light and small.

    A great walk-around lens, nice for portraits, flowers, street/travel. Nikon's best Dx Z lens yet!

    (although I haven't tried the 16-50 2.8)
