What more is there to say? I think this is like the fifth Nikon 70 (or 80) to 200mm f/2.8 zoom I've owned, & they've all been excellent. Only comment: Nikon should start making their tripod feet Arca-Swiss compatible, so you don't have to buy a replacement foot.

The new Nikon Z 70-200 is without question the best zoom I’ve ever used. AF is fast and accurate, pixels are sharp and the lens weight isn’t fine as long you are used to large lenses. I keep my cameras in cages and that balances the bodies out nicely. I’m really happy and impressed with the output, and the build just feels right. Nikon engineered a near flawless lens.

I pre-purchased this lense and waiting agonizing months for it to arrive. The agony is to much to bear for me to do that again. While I was waiting, I would search daily for new reviews of this lense in anticipation of it’s arrival. I know, when I look back it was self torture, but at least I could take solice of others that had the chance to have it in hand and share their experiences and sample pictures. Well I finally got the call that mine was ready for pickup and my dealer didn’t let me down telling me it was the first one delivered to them and I was called first. I want to let you know, the unfortunate one’s that are still waiting, that those reviews I have and possibly you have been watching as spot on. This is a great lense, you will be so happy that you added this one to your inventory of equipment. It’s, believe it, worth the wait. Clear, responsive and professional grade. Consider that you could own this lense for the rest of your life and be very happy with it. I am.
