    LOVE this lens! It is incredibly sharp, very versatile, and provides decent reach when coupled with the TC-2.0x. Wish it was faster when coupled with the teleconverter, but that's just optics--not a fault of Nikon.I find myself using this lens for the majority of my shoots. Only "con" would be the weight, but it's the price one pays for quality.Looking forward to Nikon's upcoming supertelephoto lens(es)!

    Worth the money. The best lens I ever owned. It better be since it is the most expensive lens in my arsenal. The image quality is superb. I use it as a wildlife lens with the 2.0x teleconverter on a Z7 II body.

    Solid and Sharp

    Solid build quality and edge to edge sharpness. This lens demonstrates the progress Nikon has made with mirrorless bodies as well as building a lens that outperforms the F mount version to it. It is well balanced to the Z body and although relatively heavy (lots of glass) it works great hand held.

    Nikon 70-200, f2.8 with Z7 II

    This is the third 70-200 Nikon lens I’ve owned. It is absolutely amazing. I’ve been using it with a 1.4 x teleconverter on one Z7 II and the 500 PF on the other. Great range coverage.

    5 Stars. That is all that needs to be said about this lens. Simply superb. The screen is awesome and makes you feel modern. It is also very useful. Depth of field can be displayed and it can also be customized. This is the sharpest lens I have used. Absolutely worth the price. The Z 2x TC works phenoemenally well. Great for Wildlife. The lens transforms into a 140-400mm. Very handy focal range, because the Z 100-400mm is not out currently. I just love this lens. The Bokeh is beautiful. The color rendering is fantastic. 5 Stars.
