The f/1.2 Trio is Complete!
I bought this lens to complete the f/1.2 S trio and it does not dissapoint. The focus is tack sharp, the focus motors are quick and quiet, the rendering of the bokeh is beautiful, and while lager and heavier that the f/1.8 version, it's well worth the cost differential, especially for those who do a lot of enviornmental portrait work.

With my Z9, the Nikon Z 35mm f/1.2 S delivers professional-grade optics, stunning clarity, and incredible low-light performance. I haven't seen many reviews focused on astrophotography, but I use it regularly for that purpose—shooting at f/1.2, ISO 800, and 5 seconds, I get pinpoint stars even under light-polluted skies. This lens rarely comes off my camera. The rendering is beautiful, the detail is exceptional, and honestly, the results feel surprisingly close to what I’ve seen from Noct shots—right from my backyard. It's an absolute joy to use.
