Jumping into the mirrorless game without having to purchase new lenses was my reason for purchase. So far (couple of months) I have not encountered any issues using this with my wide range of existing lenses.

I have used my Nikon FTZ mount on my Z7 with my 80-400 and 500mm lenses with a Nikkor 1.7 adapter with flawless results. I have also tested and used most of my other F-mount lenses (with the exception of D lenses) with no degradation in quality or autofocus. The FTZ mount is exceptional.

FTZ adapter works great as if its not even there. Lenses perform perfectly thru the adapter.

The FTZ adapter is one of the reasons I decided to buy my Z7. The FTZ allows me to use all my non- mirrorless Nikon lenses seamlessly with no loss of quality. I have been extremely happy with my Z7 and my FTZ and would highly recommend both to anyone thinking of the Z series.

Works perfectly with my Nikon F lenses. I have had problems with Tamron Lenses. I was able to send one of my Tamrons for a firmware update 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD. No update for SP 90mm f-2.8 Di Macro as yet. An earlier Tamron works fine.

Purchased this along with my Z6 to add another camera body to my bag and include a video capture system to my business. Since I am ´´heavily´´ invested in Nikon and third-party F mount lenses - it only made sense to include the Z6 and Adapter to my stock. I´ve been quite pleased with the results with both the quality and versatility of both stills and video. The adapter seems to handle both Nikon as well as third-party lenses quite well.

I use my Nikon Z6 and F adapter with my Nikkor 24mm and 19mm PC-E perspective control lenses for architectural photgraphy. I would not have bought this camera with its ability to use these fantastic Nikkor lenses.

I used the adapter with my full-frame, 28-300mm lens, and it performed pretty well. Occasionally, the focus would go in and out.

In my experience, all Nikon lenses, including DX, work and work better on this camera because this camera is better. Its IBIS alone makes it a joy to use with any lens.
