The D850 is the best camera I have owned! Fast. Great in low light environment. Worth the investment. Still getting to know its features but always a fun experience in photography. Kudos and thanks.

I just love this camera, picture quality are second to none, focus is very fast. I am still learning everything this camera can do.

I have owned Nikon DSLRs, beginning with the D3000 to the D500. Honestly, I thought the D500 would be my last camera - it is so amazing, especially with FX/Full-Framed Lenses! I purchased the D850 because of all the great reviews, photos and of course the 46MP. If you cannot afford to purchase the D850, at least buy the D500. However, it is my opinion that the new Nikon D850 is worth Every Penny/Dollar. I could go on for hours about how it feels in my hands to the amazing photos it produces. The models I shoot have clearly seen a major increase in the improved quality. I am so glad I waited to make the D850 my first full-framed Professional Camera!!

I shoot mostly sports and some auto and aviation. The D700 was my primary camera but I always wished for more frames and ISO. Well, this camera is pretty close. Resolution, ISO and 9 frames per second. Obviously, resolution is what strikes me the most. When I need to do some serious cropping, I´m not disappointed with grainy/fuzzy results. This is basically the camera for all seasons unless of course you´re able to justify the $6 grand for a D5 or 6. Enjoy.

I am an NYPPA / NY Press independent photographer & Retired NYC WTC 9/11 First Responder.I photograph numerous events within the NYC area. I recently used my Nikon D850 with a Nikkor 28-300mm. I also used my Nikon D5 with a Nikkor 14-24mm F2.8 to photograph the NYBG 2020 Orchid Show. I have to say that I am extremely impressed with the outstanding performance & quality that my Nikon D850 produced. I have attached some photographs. NOTE: I resized the original photos using photomechanics. The original file size I used on the D850 was (L) 8256x5504, 45.4 M JPEG

I´ve owned several Nikon cameras, as well as other brands, but this camera does everything (photographically) that I need for my type of photographic subjects. I debated purchasing this camera when I owned the D750, but the button layout was exactly the same as my D500 and that was key in my decision to acquire it. I couldn´t be happier with my purchase. I´ve heard people complain about the video on this camera, but since I don´t shoot video, I just ignore the complaints. My advice: if you have the funds available, then by all means pick this camera up. I promise you won´t be disappointed in the least. What really pleased me is the fact Nikon emailed and thanked me for buying and registering the camera. How´s that for appreciation? LOL! The photos below are straight out of the camera JPEGS with no post processing done to them. Note: I had to crop them due to upload size restrictions.

The flexibilty of this camera is amazing. From megapixels to ISO, Nikon has it covered. I love the silent photography function when I have to take set photos without disturbing cast and crew. Not only can I take full frame photos, I can switch to UHD video with a flat cine profile for future color grading. The 1080 slow motion function is a feature that I use when filming basketball games. The flip out screen made it so much easier for DSLR film makers to film at low angles. The versality and function of this camera, in my opinion, makes it the king of cameras at this point in time.
