    No camera is perfect but the D850 comes very close. I can't image using anything else for my work.

    Have one 850 & Nikon put them on sale during the holidays for a $600 discount. I grabbed it and now I have 2 !! Was going to buy a Z5II but the 850 trumped it !!

    Tack sharp focus every time!

    The focus is fast and spot on! That is important to me as a dance photographer. Capturing movement requires tack sharp focus!

    I have two and I still love this camera. It doesn't compete with the newer video technology, but it's a great still camera for many genres.

    I am walking maybe 6” off the ground as I have finally been able to get my hands on this camera! I really like having the pentaprism and also the feel of the shutter operating. The camera feels solid! So far everything I have tried in the way of autofocus and exposure has been super easy once I learned the menus and buttons. Of course everything I have shot so far has exceeded my expectations!

    This is a great camera body. Customization for shooting is very convenient. I am amazed at the image quality and the ability to shoot in DX mode to reduce file size, increase effective focal length, and still have 22.5 megapixels available.
