Very satisfied with my D850. This is a definite step up from my D800. My go to lens is my Nikon 24-120 f4 and I could not be happier. Sharp landscapes. Great sports photography. Low light capabilities are amazing.

I had the D800, D810, but as it happened a small accident with my D800 was to buy another D810 which is a great camera and I love working with it. So seeing the Nikon rumors saw that the D850 came in I decided to wait to buy. It was worth waiting for because when I bought it and started working with it it exceeded my expectations. I really like this camera and I recommend upgrading to those who have a lower range camera and who have jobs that can cover the investment. Her focus, the shooting raipez, the wireless and bluethood in addition to several other new features are the best. I had already worked with the D5 and this camera leaves nothing to be desired compared to the D5. Thank you very much Nikon for this gift you gave us.

Love my new D850; a really great camera. Use the 24 - 120 lens on it primarily. It is a real workhorse.
Will be taking it to Alaska later this summer to photograph wildlife!!

I love this camera. i shoot everything from landscape to portrait to wildlife but my primary focus is shooting raptors and birds. I used to use my D7200 for my bird shots but this camera´s incredible focus acquisition and the ability to shoot group has made it a ´´goto´´ camera for all purposes. I think that the greatest benefit is the ability to significantly crop and still have something great and usable left over. That is the real world, not every shot is perfect and if I can save something that would have been marginal before, all the better. Pairs beautifully with my nikkor 400mm 2.8 e fl.

The best review I can give, is that I now own two D850 cameras. What an amazing piece of equipment. The D850 captures details and subtle colors that I hadn´t noticed until I enlarged the images.

I bought the D850 to replace my D750, based on reviews saying that the D850, with its 47 Mpx sensor, was comparable to medium-frame cameras. Then, I tested them side by side, using the same lens (the 24-70 f/2.8), at the same apertures. I´d take a picture on one, then take the same picture on the other, at ISO 200, then ISO 800, then ISO 1600. One difference is that the D850 has a better color gamut. On an 8 1/2 x 11 size print, a gray sky comes out gray, while for the D750, it leans toward purple. Also, there are more shades of brown. I then made blowups at 22 x 17 (actually 21.76 x 14.5). There were some areas of the print where the D850 shots seemed to have more detail, and even better, a greater range of colors. Aside from that, I could only tell the difference in sharpness, and there was a difference, if I used a 4x magnifier, but there was a difference, although subtle.. But, when I reached ISO 1600, the colors now looked even better than the D750 colors. In all, the D850 seems to be the ultimate full-frame digital camera, and it´s only about 3 oz. heavier than the D750, not as heavy as the top of he line Canons, for instance. The main differences are a greater range of colors, more subtle colors, too. Also, you can shoot the D850 at ISO 1600, and it´s to tell those shots from ISO 200.

Very easy to use . It did take awhile to get used to no flash attachment.Great detail in the photos. Very sharp image . I´ve had nikon for years. Perfect. Very similar to the d800, which I also have. Photos are Easy to upload to phone. At first I had some trouble but I figured it out pretty quickly.

I love this camera and am still learning more about it. Images have great color and are very sharp. I can blow the images up to very large size prints. The only thing I miss is the fast frames per second. To upgrade to 9 frames per second ends up costing around $1,400.00 by the time everything needed is purchased. Other than that I love this camera!!!

After my heart attack, I was able to get out on a RV ´´glamping´´ trip, and use my D850 for the first time. I had purchased the D850 a couple of months earlier, but the heart attack put a damper on going out and using my new camera. As much as I enjoy(ed) my D800, the D850 is a dream. The images I took were amazingly sharp and clear. The processing time left my D800 standing still. The base ISO of 64 resulted in my images being vibrantly pleasing to my eyes. I hate to tell the people of Nikon this, but this camera has been everything that I´ve always wanted in a camera. So much so, that this might be the last camera I will ever purchase. OK. Now, I am not into sport photography and etc., so for me the Nikon D850 is the perfect camera. Can I hear an Amen?
