Z 7II

I've only had this camera for a few weeks and it is my first professional level digital camera. I'm most familiar with Linhofs and Mamiya RB67s (film cameras), but I had to make the switch to digital. This camera offers more bells and whistles than I need right now, but man the images are SHARP! I studied up on various digi-cams before making my decision and I feel confident that I made the right choice. I started with the Z7II body with the 24-120 f4 'S' zoom rather than the 24-200 VR or 24-70 f4 S. The 14-30 f4 S zoom will likely be next to purchase.I watched a couple of product videos and they were a huge help to familiarize myself with the camera and highly recommend others to watch those. A friend of mine has a Z5 and he was helpful as well.So far, so very good.

I recently sold my D850 and bought the Z7 II. I am so happy I made this upgrade. My backpack was already heavy so I didn't really like lugging that D850 and all those heavy lenses around. This Z7 II with Z lenses makes my backpack so much lighter. It's fantastic. And the picture quality is beyond amazing. When I took the first set of pictures with this camera I was shocked at the quality. I love this camera and don't regret replacing the D850 with this at all. I very much recommend giving the Z7 II a try if you are on the line with moving to mirrorless.

Amazing. I am an amateur and still learning but haven’t had any concerns so far. Point and click with great resolution. I can’t wait till I know what I am doing

Good so far. Still much to learn. Picture quality is excellent and the 24-200mm is a very versatile lens. not too heavy, good for travel

Love the camera and the image quality, although it needs better / faster auto focus. Sort of gets killed by its rivals when it comes to auto focus, but the image quality is very good. Maybe the Z7 III (if there is one, will have a variant of the AF found in the Z8...??)

Made the move from my much loved D850 to the world of mirrorless with some hesitation but it has been the best decision ever! I absolutely love the Z7II. The smaller size and less weight makes it much easier on long hikes without any loss of quality at all. Being able to see what the result will be before even clicking is wonderful. I couldn't be happier.

The Best Yet Lots of features Easy to use Great controls Just love the main and sub adjusting dials i wish it came with an instruction manual tried printing out 500 pages ouch

I love how the viewfinder is so close to being the same as a mirror camera, I also love the fact that as I change exposure settings I can see the results. This is my first full frame camera and I am impressed so far. I am looking forward to using it. My only concern, and it's a minor, is the shutter release is touch, a hair trigger that I will have to get used to.

The Nikon Z 7II is a pleasure to use. Metering is excellent and I have had few problems with the auto focus. The auto focus dose struggle when there is a fast moving subject. I which the start up was faster and not quite so loud. I really like the images it produces. Fantastic for landscape photography and portraits.
