    My Z6II is Fantastic!

Posted by Stuart Konecky on May 17, 2024

Having previously owned several Nikon crop sensor cameras, including the D500 and the Z50, I decided to take the leap last year and invest in the full-frame Z 6II. To my delight, the camera’s performance has far surpassed my expectations. The image quality offered is incredible. I truly enjoy using the camera's mirrorless feature, which allows e to make quick adjustments. I currently use two Nikkor lenses with this camera: the 24-120mm f/4 S, which came bundled with the camera, and the recently acquired 180-600mm zoom lens. The sharpness achieved with these lenses is truly excellent.I

    Z6ii for waterfowl photography

Posted by roger faulkingham on May 6, 2024

I had a Z5 for a year to break into the Mirrorless system, about a month ago I bought a brand new Z6ii from Nikon, wow I was blown away with the auto focus on this camera.I have mainly been doing action photos of my retriever and waterfowl photography. Absolutely could not be happier, watched a few YouTube videos to get suggestions for dialing in Bird photography and I am very impressed with the quality and speed of the auto focus. I was holding out for the Z6iii, but decided to buy either the Z8 or Z6ii, so to spend more on a few lenses went the Z6ii route, awesome camera!

    Little Powerhouse

Posted by Patrick Bertolino on April 8, 2024

Very happy with this little powerhouse. If I had to make one improvement, I would have it remember timer settings in the custom settings options. I found a work around, but that would be nice. I am an architectural photographer who switched from the D750 and found better quality all around

I like being able to set up different I settings For the user settings, I also really like the positioning of the AF- on button & the shutter release button.

    Twice as nice

Posted by TOM LEMERY on March 31, 2024

This is my second Z6II. As a sports photographer I carry two cameras so I am able to capture close up action with my Z 24-70 2.8 S mounted to one Z6II and an 80-400 mounted to the other (using the FTZ adapter). Most times I'm shooting bursts in AF-C mode. The Z6II focuses quickly and accurately. Color and images are great during the day or night games. I was using a D810, as my go-to camera before I purchased my first Z6II. The D810 was a bit heavier and not as responsive. Love being able to see what I captured on the LCD in real time so I am able to change or correct my settings accordingly. The Z6II is perfect for what I need. I have since added a Z 70-200 2.8 S and battery grip to my kit for court-side vertical basketball shots. During my free time, I love shooting wildlife and landscapes. Again, the Z6II turns out great images all around. I am very happy I switched to the Nikon mirrorless system!
