    Great Update For My Z5 with One Big Disappointment for Nikon AWL Users

    The Z5 won me over to mirrorless, and the Z5II is a significant update for autofocus, VR, ISO, video control ergonomics. The image quality is superb and can meet most demands of commercial photography. Most of my work is fashion and beauty on various locations, so with the D850 and Z5, I've been using the Nikon Radio Advanced Wireless Lighting system, controlling several SB-5000s and SB-700s with the Nikon WR-R10 every shoot. So I was very disappointed that the Z5II does not have the accessory port need to support the WR-R10 or WR-R11a. When I inquired about this, Nikon Support referred me to page 400 of the Z5II manual, which steps through the Nikon Optical Advanced Wireless Lighting system with the no longer avilable Nikon SB-500 on camera. Luckily, I have an SB-500, but on camera flash has a few drawbacks. So one star off for an upgrade that removed a feature.

    Great camera, intuitive, and full of features. I’m using my F mount lenses and the results are terrific.

    I researched this camera long and hard before purchasing

    I am enjoying my new Z5ii very much. It has a bit of a learning curve as I have been used to the features and controls of my Nikon d500. Smaller yet still fitting firmly in my hand (male), I am getting used to the Function 1 & 2 buttons as they are closer than my d500. Still a very manageable, comfortable camera body. There a lots of fun things to learn if a person wants to really improve his or her skills, but the rewards are great. Love the eye tracking feature and the U1-U3 setting modes, right now setting U1 and landscape and U2 for sports/wildlife. Excited to bring it on my river cruise this fall as it will fit well in my personal item bag on my flight.

    No turning back

    I finally made the switch from my D200 to the Z5 ii. I also purchased the lens adapter so that I can use my older lenses. It is hard to describe the improvement in ease of use and the clarity of photos.

    Great camera, silly name

    Great Camera. Best I've owned in a 40 year career as a photographer. The name "Z5ii"Can I be said with voice command on a phone I can't be typed without having to backspace and take out a period on a phone. The name is a pain in the butt. The camera is amazing.

    I m really enjoying my new z5 ii. This is a great camera, packed with amazing features and amazing auto focus. I switched from a z7 and haven’t looked back. Delighted with my purchase.
