Double the fun of the 70-200 with this brilliant addition to the lineup.
Posted by Michael Hassey on May 19, 2021
When I need to go long - this is a quick way to reach out and touch without much added buik to my kit. I wish it were faster but I get physics so.. no complaints. I am pleased with the fit, the performance and the value for the money. No regrets on this purchase.

Not as sharp as Z TC-1.4x
Posted by Peter Esherick on May 18, 2021
Not as sharp as Z TC-1.4x just like everyone else sees. Would make more sense on a lower pixel camera like Z6, nut on my Z7 it's a toss up whether the TC-2.0X is better than cropping with TC-1.4X

Fully zoomed, pics not sharp to me. Wish I'd have got the 1.4x
Posted by Lee Burke on May 18, 2021
This is a very good device. However I regret buying this instead of the 1.4x version. I can zoom in to things but the pics are not sharp & defined as I expected I used this only with the NIKKOR Z70-200mm f/2.8 VR S which I believe is the only lens it works with. Seems too pricey for the output so far. It's possible I misunderstood what this teleconverter could do for me, but it looks like one has to scour photography sites to get a full view of a particular product. Caveats -- new to Z cameras, only one Z lens so far.

Fully integrated, easy to use, great way to double the Z 70-200 2.8 lens.

Good option, but wish it were lighter
Posted by Wayne Wong on May 18, 2021
Not as sharp as TC1.4 for 70-200 f/2.8s lens noticeably heavier. Still, very useful option, aldo on Z50 for minimim focusing distance

Immense flexibility
Posted by Patrick Joy on May 18, 2021
Works well with Z 70-200 zoom, giving 140 to 400. If you can go into DX you get 210 to 600 mm equivalent. It remains sharp edge to edge and the contrast is great. Color is top notch in all the various focal lengths that one can achieve. Love the flexibility. Does not matter that it does not work with the Z to F converter.

EXCELLENT!!!!
Posted by Mel Mel on May 18, 2021
I'm blown away by the performance of this TC. I can't notice any significant degradation when using it.Nikon has really knocked it out of the park with the 70-200mm lens and the T/C 2.0.

Worth the cost.

Combined with the Z 70-200 you now have an excellent 140-400 mm lens. I have not found any loss of detail or sharpness when using this in bird photography. Nikon needs to get it to work equally well with it's other Z lens.
