I could not be more pleased with the Z 1.4 teleconverter for my Z 400mm f4.5 VR S and Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S lenses. No distortion and crisp image to the edge. Looking forward to getting closer captures of wildlife and birds in flight.

Excellent addition to my 180-600 lens. I can't tell any difference in image quality or focusing. Makes a great lens even a better at a reasonable cost.

I've owned a few DSLR teleconverters over the past 40 years and the tradeoff was always more magnification, but with a loss in image quality. Nikon has somehow managed to increase the magnification by 1.4 with virtually no loss in image quality. Very highly recommended!

I have only used the TC with my Nikon 180-600 lens so far. It has worked better than I expected with sharp images on both my Z8 and Z6 II bodies. Having to shoot at F9 and the shorter DOF are two things that make the teleconverter a bit challenging, but that was expected. The photos are sharp enough at 600MM that I have no worries about sharpness with the TC, at lease in the middle of the frame. I've read reviews that say there's a slight loss of sharpness on the edges, but unless I'm shooting in portrait orientation, my subject is near the center of the frame for wildlife photography. Overall, I'm happy with the results I'm getting so far!
