    A simply amazing, flexible camera.

Posted by Gordon Runkle on March 26, 2024

Superb when it was released, the Z9 has been made even better by subsequent firmware updates which not only refined existing capabilities, but added important new ones. Superb image quality, even in high-ISO conditions is invaluable in both wildlife and concert photography, as is the brilliant autofocus system with dedicated modes for a variety of subjects.I cannot recommend the Z9 highly enough.

The First Pro Nikon in My Bag

Posted by David Buck on March 23, 2024

Started with a Pentax ME Super to a Nikon FE, N90S, D70, D7000 and finally to the top- the Nikon Z9. Their cameras and lenses just keep getting better. The Z9 autofocus and speed are amazing for the type of photography I do. For most this camera will do it all. Thanks Nikon for a wonderful tool.

New camera for an old man

Posted by warflick warflick on March 5, 2024

My first truly professional camera, and I’m almost 80. Strictly amateur or hobbyist. So much to learn. But I love it. In about two months I hope to have my work flow set, and I hope to understand most of what I’m doing. I feel like a kid with a new expensive bike.

My dream camera delivers in spades.

Posted by Matt Eseltine on February 24, 2024

I have been shooting Nikon since the N90s. I have owned many Nikon cameras but this is my first flagship Nikon. This camera ticks all the boxes, Fast, accurate, capable. The Z9 gives me so much flexibility. It opens up possibilities that were less likely with DSLRs. You get rather spoiled using Z9 and notice this when you pick up a DSLR spare body. Mirrorless is the new reality, it is here, Nikon have hit a homerun with the Z9. I am pre-gobsmacked about what a Z10 could possibly be like. Nikon, please, global shutter.Likes: 20 fps RAW, silent mode, star mode, red mode, long battery life, ergonomics, function buttons, "I" menu, specific focus subjects ie. birds, planes etc, f mount compatibility (with FTZ II)Dislikes: No global shutter, viewfinder needs higher resolution, needs more illuminated buttons.

    Exceeded my expectations.

Posted by Haydn B Eugene on February 18, 2024

I have shot Nikon for over 40yrs and although have encountered occasional lapses in equipment functionality, I'm die hard Nikon. I shoot events, weddings and whatever is required. My real passion is landscape and birding. A variety of Nikon equipment and lenses have always fit the bill. What I've always longed for moresk when birding, has been the ability to track and lock on to the subject effortless, seamlessl and cature it sharply and with much fluidity. What the Z9 has delivered has been precisely what I wanted and more. The firmware upgrades has even rendered more. My Z6II and D850 are still always at hand along with all the f mount lenses, (ive got the FTZ) adaptor but have been slowly coverting to the Z S line lenses. The Z9 is simply unbelievable and a joy to shoot with.

    The Z9 is wow!

Posted by TP Anantheswaran on February 12, 2024

Wow! what a camera. I have been using it for more than a year now and extremely happy with it. Eye auto-focus is the best I have had. Pictures are crisp (one can count the number of feathers on birds). Focus speed is absolutely amazing and locks on the subject immediately. Extremely intuitive and easy to use. Z9 is a boon for Nikon users.
