All I can say is, Thank you Nikon!!! I love my D500 and my D850, but looking to move into the mirrorless world, and staying with Nikon. I am an action type wildlife photographer and am just thrilled with the speed and responsiveness of the Z9. The Z9 made the wait worth it!!!!

The Z 9 is an amazing camera! I have been very happy with its performance. The Auto Focus system is lightening fast. It is much easier to photograph birds in flight with the Z 9. The Z 9 is an upgrade from my Z 7 (which I will be keeping for landscape photos and still shots). The view finder makes it really easy to find your subject even at 500mm. The Z 9 will lock focus and keep focus so much faster with birds in flight.

This is the best camera I have owned. It greatly exceeds the capabilities and ease of use of my Previous cameras. (D5, D500, D810 etc.) It feels and handles like my D5, but in a slightly smaller package. The only thing that takes work is learning how to use it's numerous new features and improved capabilities.

So far every situation has been a great shooting experience. Great focusing and overall build is perfect. Love the flagship size. I cant get out enough to shoot with it and its hard to put away. The speed in every aspect is a welcome improvement over the previous Z's.

Nikon has hit one "out of the park" with the new Z9! This is simply one of the best cameras Nikon has produced since the introduction of the D850. The Auto Focus is "spot on", the build quality is solid, the image quality is superior with the new Z lenses, the control layout is logical, and the overall look and feel is outstanding. I have owned many Nikon film and digital camera bodies over the years, and this is one of the best new cameras to hit the market in years. Nikon may have had a slow start getting into mirrorless, but with the new Z lenses, the Z cameras, and now the Z9, I truly believe Nikon has surpassed the competition and will continue to do so going forward.In short, the Nikon Z9 is a revolutionary achievement and deserves the designation as Nikon's flagship mirrorless camera!Outstanding job, Nikon!

I’ve only been able to shoot a few times in the morning but the focus is amazingly fast and locks on to birds quickly! Can’t wait for the weather to cooperate so I can spend an entire day shooting!
