    How to make a great camera even better.

    This camera is a great camera. I really don't have any complaints about it. I do think there are things Nikon has done that might be reconsidered in the future. When I purchased this camera it came with a battery charger, but that charger only has one battery slot. Other models I have purchased in the past provided chargers with the ability to charge two batteries, something very convenient for overnight charging. The batteries provided with the Z9 are excellent and have a very long life, but not having the option to charge two in one charging unit leaves something to be desired.

    Great Camera, USB-C tethering can be a problem

    Excellent camera with all the pro functions you could expect. the only complaint I have is the USB-C port but that's not really a Nikon problem. I almost always shoot tethered, One of my z9's has already developed connectivity issues due to the weight of the cable resting on the USB-C port. Nikon is aware and provides a plastic adapter that solves the problem by holding the wire slack, but that makes it less portable and difficult to shoot while tethered and not on a tripod. This is a $750 + shipping problem to get resolved so use the plastic brace even though it's annoying and be careful with your cable.

    Great camera all the way around! Works well with my older glass with the FTZII adaptor. So far there isn’t anything I don’t like.

    Professional body style

    Great camera with menus that are familiar with my Z8. The vertical grip with the larger battery are good for events that last several hours. The weight is considerable but is balanced when using longer lenses like the 70 - 200 f2.8 Z.
