Nikon is kicking butt and taking names!

Posted by Jeannie Seevers on June 14, 2023

I am so happy I bought the Z8 as a backup to my Z9…and my Z7ii! Nikon has hit it out of the park with the Z8. I also shoot with Canon and Fuji, but not really anymore, they are now gathering dust because I am always reaching for my Nikons. I was going to hold onto my D850 forever but the Z8 tempted me, so I sold my D850 and have zero regrets! This camera is beautiful! If you have bought it yet, you are seriously missing out!

Great camera with some problem. Can not use third party battery! But Z9, Z7II can be used with third party battery. This problem can be, and must be solved by firmwear update!

I have two Z9 cameras, but wanted a lighter Z with all the same features for my wife. The Z8 is the perfect solution.

    Grat Camera

Posted by Robert Ziegler on June 14, 2023

The camera is great in all different scenarios. I have taken about 200 images with it and they all are good. From people to fast moving objects. I like the fact that camera is lighter due to no build in grip. Batteries lasted longer than I thought they would.Overall I have no complaints.I also have the Z9.

Love the size and weight of the Z8! The feature set is superb! It appears that Nikon has AGAIN knocked it out of the ball park!I leave tomorrow for a 10 day trip. I will be using the Z9 and Z8. I'll have more experience with the Z8 in a couple of weeks.

The Z8 is everything that I had hoped for. Short of the vertical grip, the button layout is identical to my Z9, so I only have one set of muscle memory to worry about. Focus tracking and speed equals the Z9 also. There have been concerns voiced about the smaller battery and battery life, but I find it sufficient for my needs.

    Blown away with my Z8!

Amazing camera. Coming from the Z6II I was already impressed with the picture quality from Nikon. The increased megapixels along with FPS I am getting fantastic results after only two weeks.

    Amazing

This is a great camera and the ability to focus on inflight birds is amazing. Using a 200-500 Nikon fx the resolution. unbelievable
