Field Glasses
Posted by PPK on May 3, 2020
Had a pair of Nikon 10x50 from 30 years ago and NIkon could not fix them... they did sent me a coupon to replace from current stock.. i bought two 10x50. Roof prism are so much more compact. Focusing.. they don't "snap in focus" like my 30 yr old pair did... but am still happy with them. good value... sharp... no problem to use to 15 or 20 minutes either.

It's like watching a big screen TV for the first time.

I love the picture I get when I look through The Nikon Prostaff Binos. I wear glasses and usually I am limited I what I can see but these give me an AMAZING SITE picture. I have a friend who spent WAY MORE on his bino's and he said if he would have seen these first he would have bought Nikon and saved a ton of money instead.

First time Nikon buyer

I have used many brands of binoculars over the years. The PROSTAFF 5 10x50 is a good pair of utility binoculars having very acceptable clarity and light gathering capability for the price. I did find that the lens covers are pretty cheep and not well thought for binoculars of this class. I expect lower quality for lower cost, but at $200.00, I would recommend that Nikon could include a set of lens covers that have a better retaining system. What is included will be lost over the course of use. I do hope that the exterior coating will last longer than other manufacturers.
