    Amazing macro lens with so much versatility!!

    I purchased this lens in late June 2021 from a local camera shop and it pairs exceptionally well with my Z7II. If you're considering a macro lens with enthusiast to pro level performance, this is the one you want. Let me explain.Pros - Amazingly sharp images, lightweight, top notch macro performance, AND a great portrait and lifestyle lens. Being an S-line lens, you have a focus AND an aperture ring right where you need them on the body of the lens. The top LCD display gives you a quick look at your focus distance and adds a nice extra touch. I never thought I'd use it but on all my S series glass it just grew on me. This lens pairs perfectly with the Z series bodies and produces stunning images. With a little focus stacking you can extend your depth of field to make amazing macro images. The focus limiting switch let's you refine the range your camera hunts for focusing which is really valuable to get a quick lock when you need it or just get close before you tweak the manual focus ring if you need to. Very lightweight and a great addition to your bag for a variety of uses.Cons: I really haven't found anything I don't like about this lens. Maybe the price is a little higher than it could be but in this case I really feel like this lens does so much and is useful in so many situations I don't mind the price that much.Summary - If I were just buying a macro lens this would be top notch but because it's so versatile and can be used in so many different situations it's a must have in my opinion. If you're considering it, I can say with no reservations at all that this lens won't disappoint.
