Good lens for the money. Good telephoto lens with50-250 mm focus points. Take good pictures. Wish it had AF/MF switch

    Nice lens for the price

Posted by Guest Shopper on February 1, 2025

Nice price for a nice Z-mount option. But ... it is not made for the full frame of the Z5 ... so optical quality and the quality of photographs are not the same as a lens made for full frame capture. That being said ... a quality lens.

    Great camera and lens kit!

Posted by Dan Kane on January 14, 2025

I’m a novice user and recently received the z50 mark II in the two lens kit as a gift. It is remarkably easy to use right out of the box and there are some really good tutorials that help to improve my photos. I am an old 35 mm Canon AE1 film camera user and this Nikon camera and lens kit are a super quality set! I definitely recommend this camera and lens kit.

    Stunned and impressed

Posted by David Martin on June 11, 2024

My first changeable lens camera ever. It came with the 50-250 lens. After owning it for a total of 10 days and little practice, I spent a whole day taking photographs at an air show. From light rain in the morning, cloudy/overcast mid-day to sunny in the afternoon, I’m more than satisfied and impressed. Comparing my photographs with others taken with more expensive & longer ranges, i’m not complaining!!! None of my posted photos have been edited or cropped.

    Review

Posted by KAYE E CUMMINGS on June 2, 2024

I'm not a professional, but photography is my hobby. My D90 Nikon quit working and I had a number of different lens. I bought the Nikon Z5 with the kit lenses and on first look I questioned the quality as it did not have the weight and appearance of my old lenses. However, I was overly impressed with the sharpness of my pictures and it did not disappoint. It is nice that the Z’s are lighter weight lens and easier to hold for us senior adults! I’m very impressed with both the Z16-50 and the Z50-250 lens. I bought the FTZ II lens adapter, but not sure how often I will use it now that I see how sharp my pictures are with the new lens.

Very good for what it is

Posted by John Weinberg on March 12, 2024

Very nice for what it is. Replaced my Z5 and Z mount full frame lenses to reduce weight when traveling. At half the weight and half the cost it is very versatile and easy to carry for long periods. Picture quality isn’t quite up to the Z mount S full frames but still very good.

    Still new to Z50

Posted by Phibulsri Mustoe on February 4, 2024

Well, I'm still new to Z50. For any reason I still like my D3400 with 300 mm lens. It feel and adjust for focusing seem to be more easy than Z DX 50 - 250 leans. I enjoy it ! Still more to learn with Z50 set.
