Love my Z7
Posted by Pumpa on March 11, 2019
I just love my Z7 I have waited and waited for NIKON to release a mirror less camera. the FTZ adapter lets me use all my lenses. I was thinking about getting a Sony but held off because I would Loose all my Lenses, I glad I did, The only thing missing would be a builtin GPS, Oh well Very happy

Works perfectly!
Posted by Desertdweller on March 11, 2019
The FTZ works perfectly with all of my legacy Nikon lenses. The only minor drawback is the added length and bulk. It makes me really appreciate my new Z mount lens. Until there are more Z mount lenses available the FTZ is the perfect bridge.

Pleasantly Surprised
Posted by DaLeadBear on March 11, 2019
I was hesitant about buying a Z7 because I have a bazillion dollars worth of F-Mount lenses, and I really didn´t think adding a clunky adapter would result in a usable solution. I was wrong.
The Z7 itself is so light and compact compared to the D-850 and D-5 that I´ve been using, that a bit of extra weight is no big deal. And the FTZ only weighs about half a pound, and only adds 1´´ to the overall length of the camera/lens. Plus the tripod thread at the bottom of it allows for a better distribution of weight on shorter lenses that don´t have tripod mounts built in.
Seamless operation. -

Z 6 with FTZ rocks old AI-S lenses!
Posted by NikonHobbyist on March 11, 2019
I purchased my first Nikon (FM Film based) camera in 1979, and have collected many lenses through the years, which I have used on several other Nikon SLR and DSLR cameras. One lens in particular (1000 mm F/11 Reflex-Nikkor), although optically sharp, has always been difficult to use -- requiring a sturdy tripod and a very fast shutter speed -- until now! When used with focus peaking and IBIS on the Nikon Z 6 , this lens (and many other long and/or slow lenses) has become a delight! For the first time ever, I am shooting hand-held with the 1000mm reflex lens, as well as using all of my other old and new lenses, and the resulting pictures are nothing short of amazing!

besides being a little awkward attaching its awesome...if you have a ton of Nikon F-mount glass and want the benefits of the Z´s mirrorless features like IBIS the FTZ adapter is a must have

Great product
Posted by Penmar on March 11, 2019
I am a long time Nikon user and have many great lenses. I also wanted a mirrorless camera but didn´t want to switch systems or be forced into purchasing new lenses. Nikon hit a home run with this adapter for the Z6 and Z7. I was able to purchase the mirrorless without having to resort to new lens purchases. All of my lenses work perfectly with the adapter. Lenses are easily attached or detached, my current lens lineup works well with the Z6 and the adapter.

The FTZ and Z7, perfect on-set companions
Posted by Gene on March 11, 2019
I´ve been usung my Z7 and FTZ now on set of various television productions since last August. For me, there was no question or debate buying these items once they became available. It´s the first time during my 25 years using Nikon products on set that I´ve been able to quickly and easily switch from a wide zoom to telephoto between takes to capture the actors doing their thing. All silently and even using decades old glass if I want. This has really freed me up to creatively capture some of the most creative people on the planet and even as a guy in his mid 50s, I still find it very exciting.

Simple and works well

Very easy nothing to know or adjust for with this adapter. Use with both Nikon and non OEM lenses, all work well. Lenses do not require any adjustments for focus. Good investment to use my existing glass.
