    Flimsy Attachement

    In the space of 20 minutes the hood fell off three times. The slightest jostle and it pops off. As the last departure ended up in the north Atlantic surf I will be looking into 3rd party alternatives. This is not like Nikon.

    Fits my lens perfectly & was a good price except for the added shipping cost which seems excessive--hence only 4 stars. Haven't used yet.

    Great hood, but be careful with a ´´pop´´ up flash

    Quarter turn on or off the lens (neat). Works as you would expect...however with the lens at 16mm using the pop-up flash on the Nikon will result in a shadow at the bottom of the image (assuming a horizontal format) caused by the lens hood.
