    Upgrade from 7200

Posted by AirForce on December 18, 2018

I was a little uncomfortable going to the touch screen option, my fingers are like thumbs. But, it works fine though I don´t use it most of the time.Like the tilting monitor screen, since the 7200 didn´t have it. Do miss dual SD card slots, why I don´t know. Very pleased with the quality of my shots. This is my fifth Nikon, very pleased with their customer support when I have needed it. Has more features than I will ever need, still a nice extra if I do use them.Spring for the Speedlight, I love them.

The D7500 is the best camera i have ever owned.

The D7500 takes very clear picture, and the exposure settings are perfect. The camera is easy to use once you become familiar with the functions. I would definitely recommend this camera

    Really great camera

Posted by Morris on November 24, 2018

Low light higher ISO performance is incredible compared to D3400. Flexibility on brackets is another great feature. Shoot real estate and this camera really takes great pix with the Nikoor 10-20. Perfect combination. Only negative is the menues are not as intuitive as I would like.

    Awesome All-around Camera!

    Posted by Garyross70 on November 19, 2018

Got this a a back up to my D850. When my 850 went in the shop (another story). I used this a primary for my travel photography (wildlife, street and architecture) and I have to say I have fallen in love with this camera. I shoot burst and this thing does not disappoint. Focus system is more than adequate for most situations, and unless your a dedicated sports/wildlife photographer in which case you probably are looking at the D500, this will cover just about anything. Ergonomics--Great, Speed--Awesome, Low light-great. Overall this is an Awesome camera for enthusiasts who want to take their game to the next level and still have features to grow with. D7500 will not steer you wrong. finally the battery life on this is GROSSLY under rated. I was averaging 1500 shots per charge and got over 2000 shots when not using live few (focus checking) as much. Overall, this as an awesome all-around camera.

    Excellent 4K/UHD/FHD video quality

Posted by Rudra on November 12, 2018

I am not a professional photographer but I have used a lot of cameras. I found this camera giving me the photographs with tremendous contrast in each photos.

Just on trial, i shoot a video of one of our get-together party with FHD setting, i found the video quality, which i have not seen earlier. A quality video similar to Hollywood movie.

There is no option for change the aspect ratio to 16:9 in photo shoot mode. WiFi on/off option is missing to connect the smart device for taking remote photos. There is no record-pause-record button assigned when video records. Video record stops if we take a photos while recording video. That´s the reason, i gave 4 star otherwise it´s a 5 star camera

    Excellant Camer for the bucks

Posted by Azboy on November 10, 2018

So much clearer than the D7200. My photos are more than I could imagine. Sunsets, sunrises and in between are colorful and sharp. I am sold on this camera.

Good second body in tandem with my D500

Posted by PhotoArtbyDave on November 8, 2018

I had a D7200 that I dearly loved get stolen after about 200,000 shots. My main body is a D500 and the D7500 is the perfect second body for my walking around lenses while my long lens is on the D500. The controls are very similar, so it is second nature to use it when I pick it up quickly. I love the interval mode for doing a series of bracket HDR sunrise/sunset shots when it´s setup on a tripod. If I was on a budget and wanted to move up from a standard DSLR to one more suitable for wildlife photography with a good frames per second count, the D7500 would be it. You won´t outgrow it!

Nice upgrade from D7200 for an all purpose camera.

Posted by Whyme on October 14, 2018

The extra flexibility of the ISO and shooting speeds has given this camera enough extras to offset the fact you have only one SD card. I have been able to get shoot several photos at 20,000 ISO early morning and near dark of elk and whitetail deer that I could never have a usable photo from my D7200 in such dark conditions. The extra speed has made it possible for me to get eagles and blue heron in flight , plus getting some great landscape. Focus has been fast and with many options that I am glad to have without the extra weight of a D500. I have stepped up the quality of my photos and while I´m still getting use to shooting video with the D7500 it can really give you excellent quality. I would recommend it to those who want to advance to semi-pro status or just perfect their hobby.I did not give it a 5 Star rating due to the fact I saw no reason why Nikon would remove the additional SD card.
