D7500

Loved my 3200 for years, but it was beginning to fade, so time for an update. I foolishly assumed the 7500 was still the base DSLR in the Nikon line, but it is loaded with clunky excessive features. How many of these are actually used?
When I tried live shooting with the flipback up, it was impossible to focus -- just kept bouncing between red and green square, although just fine with eyepiece. Noticeably heavier than 3200, but for what?
Carried over same lens, which was nice, but I think I should have checked out Lumix and Fujifilm to see what the leaders in this field offer. Loyatly was misplaced here.

This camera has meets a high standard for a DX, APS-C sized chip camera. It is a tank that when matched with the 24-70mm zoom lens covers all the bases. For large format photography I would want full frame but this is perfect for photo journalism, weddings, and art prints not above 13in by 19in, as it is only 20 Megapixels. It has been superseded by the D780 full frame in the DSLR market and multiple more expensive Z cameras, but for someone who wants quality autofocus for sports, fast frame rate, and decent ergonomics this is a good bet. The Nikon menu system and button controls are perfect, allowing fast changes to ISO, and exposure compensation. The viewfinder is bright, big, and old school. Battery life and ruggedness is admirable. The other advantage is that there are a surplus of Nikon lenses available for this camera and some of the DX lenses are bargains for a beginning photographer, but I stick with the AFS, ED lenses.

Since I missed out on the D500 when it was retired a few years ago, I decided to upgrade from my trusty D7000. Since I am not a fan of Mirrorless I couldn’t resist picking up the D7500, feels familiar, great D500 sensor, sturdy and weather sealed and works natively with all my f mount lenses. What a bargain!!!! Love it.

This camera has been in production since 2017 for a reason. The hardware is fast and the sensor is of high quality with a wide dynamic range. My D7500 cameras match my output needs with room to spare and do it in a small form factor that is easy to carry. I have also given out two more D7500 to newer Nikon photographers as gifts. This is great camera with serious capability!

Replacement for D7100. A nice update with almost all buttons and dials in the same location, making the transition seamless.

I just purchased a new Nikon D7500 body as an upgrade to my current D3500 and OMG this camera is awesome. I'm not a pro but I love landscape, cityscape and architectural photography and my pics are incredibly sharp. I really feel that the D7500 doesn't get the credit it truly deserves from an APS-C type camera. Great ISO for low light situations, nice AF and it's weather sealed. Works great with my D3500 kit lenses (18-55 & 70-300). It mates well with all my Nikon lenses; 10-20, 18-70, 35 1.8, 40 2.8 macro and 50 1.8. It's so easy to use and I love this camera. B. Taylor

Pour moi c'est une grosse mauvaise expérience .. j'ai acheté le d7500 neuf .. gros problème de lag .. il y a fallu que je vois un spécialiste pour réglé les problème .. de plus la batterie fournie avec est ne fonctionne pas est DEA .. ( ne charge pas . pas de jus ) doit payer de multitude de frais qui coute tres cher quand on paye un appareil photo déjà assez cher !

I just got my new D7500 from Nikon USA for $699, which is dirt cheap...as a owner of the D500 I wanted a back-up "truck camera" that can do as good or close as the D500 which is awesome!! The smaller size is just perfect for carrying it around an it can handle all my lenses that perform well on my D500.Very fast AF, good ISO sensibility and producing very sharp colorful images. I am not a pro photograper but I do think the D7500 is a sleeper and deserves more attention!! Loving it so far big time!!!

Much better camera than the D3200. Amazing variety of features ! Ordering and Delivery was problem free and ahead of time.
