Its a big upgrade from my D-90. Wasn´t aware of all the features it has. Read the manual a few times, still learning. SUPER JOB putting all the options in it. Came with two Nikon course, I need to take more.

I am very happy with my purchase of the 7500, I have been using it now for about 4 months and I´m getting great pictures with it, I usually have it pared up with my Nikon 200-500mm f5.6 zoom lens that I just bought too, and what an improvement from my other lens. I really like the touch screen, I didn´t use it at first, but I made myself keep trying it and have come to like it a lot. I really don´t have anything bad to say about it other than I wish it had a double card slot like the 7200 which I also own and have decided to keep as a backup instead of selling it. I wanted to get the D500 but since I´m not that wealthy I settled for this camera and am very satisfied with it. Maybe some day I´ll get the 500, but until then this and the 7200 will do just fine. Haven´´t had the camera long. Still learning how to use if. Takes great pictures and it´s great on family outings and sports events.

Upgraded from a D5100. This is a vastly superior experience. It does take a bit of getting used to the various menus. Camera is fantastic, photos are super, auto-focusing works very well
Very light, but seems to be sturdy, changing lenses a dream, as usual with Nikon

I am a Nikon guy. I have owned everything from a D50, D3100, D5100, D5300 and now a D7200 and D7500. After shooting thousands of photographs thru the 3000 series models, I moved up to the D7200. When I dropped the 7200 (on concrete), I went out and bought a D7500. What an upgrade in operation and quality! The D7200 is now fixed so I have both cameras. I gave the 3000´s to family and friends. Both the 7200 and 7500 are great cameras. I don´t use the touch screen much but I wish the 7500 articulated like the 5300´s. A matt screen would help as well. The 7000 series cameras are more complicated and I would advise buying a separate instruction book to help you master all the upgrades. I use Snapbridge and although I don´t have it all figured out yet, my pictures seem to transfer easily and automatically. A GREAT feature for travel photographers like me.
I only use prime lenses. The results I get using my D7500 with a 135mm 2.0 are nothing short of stunning! If you are getting less than satisfactory results with your D7500, take a good look at the glass you are using. The D7200 and D7500 are high quality cameras deserving of quality lenses.

I recently purchased my D7500 and absolutely love it! The clarity of images, brilliant color, ability of the camera to adjust well to lighting conditions, and the overall size and handling are amazing! I love this camera and am so very glad I upgraded!

I love shooting with this camera. The quality of pictures is crisp, fast, silent focus, versatile.
It takes amazing videos, as well.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this camera. I have worked my way from a D5200 to a D7100 and now the D7500. I loved my D7100 but had an accident(my bad) hence I had to get a new camera. This feels very much like my D7100 which is great. I had over 100k shutter clicks on my d7100 and loved using but it had a huge issue with wildlife photography. Its horrible buffer! I still got plenty of great shots over the years I just had to plan really well and when to press the button. I did miss a few good shots due to a full buffer. The D7500 takes all the great qualities of the D7100 but makes it a beast for wildlife/sports. I have been testing it for the last 2 weeks very heavily(over 3000 shots so far). The 8 frames is awesome and I have yet to fill the 50 shot buffer(raw). Thats been a sigh of relief. The focus system is the same as the D7100 but I do feel it is a bit more responsive with fast moving birds. I have taken several shots to compare vs the D7100 since it has had a slight reduction in pixels. At 100% magnified in Lightroom I can not notice any real difference, I do notice a slight difference at 300% but that is literally pixel level. The ISO is slightly better on the D7500 at 3200 and 6400...haven´t shot higher than that. I usually set the camera to go up to 3200 as needed and never had any worries it wouldn´t be usable. Battery life is fantastic. I can easily get 1500-2000 pictures off one battery. The touch screen is awesome and the tilting part is very usable for landscapes so I don´t have to kneel down all the time for low angle shots. I Love this camera and it seems it will fit all my needs as an advanced Hobbyist.
It does have a few negatives depending on what you need out of your camera..
-Its not a D500, but also a much better price tag
-the loss of a 2nd SD card slot. I never shot backup anyway so a non issue for me. If you shot paying gigs(weddings, portraits etc...) it could be an issue
-no battery grip option. They are heavy and bulky anyway so I have never used one, even when shooting with my Nikon 300mm f4
-no 10 frames per second of the D500...it does do 8 fps which is crazy fast compared to most cameras out there.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone looking for a great all around camera that really shines when the action starts. Photos below are just a couple of what I got with my D7500 so far. Nikon 300mm af-s f4 prime, Sigma 17-50 f2.8

Great Camera for enthusiasts of wildlife and nature! Although Nikon D500 has more features, faster frame rates, and auto-focus point than the Nikon D7500. Nikon D7500 still performs amazing for non-professional photographers. The most important to tune the setting for the type of photos you want to take. Being creative with your photos is your key.
